Calming arrow solitaire: clear the board by matching pairs in the right order.
Crosswise is an arrow solitaire. If you love mahjong solitaire or classic card games, you’ll feel at home: the same calm satisfaction — clear the whole board, pair by pair, in the right order. Only here, the pairs are arrows.
Arrows don’t fly off the board—they clear it in pairs. Tap a horizontal or vertical arrow: it searches its line for the first perpendicular arrow of the same color. The pair disappears, together with every arrow and clay pot between them. One tap can clear a long corridor—or remove the arrow you needed next.
The rule is simple. The order is the puzzle. Force clears nothing here. Order does.
• Read the whole grid before you tap.
• Clear long paths: the fewer arrows remain, the more coins you earn.
• Think ahead: a move can reveal a new pair or erase one you were saving.
• One coin is enough to pass. A clean clear is worth three.
Every level pays in coins for how little you leave behind. The progress bar marks the coin thresholds. Clay pots work twice: when an arrow is left with no partner it could ever meet, a collected pot returns the pair it needs; a pot you never spend that way takes an arrow off your remainder instead.
When you need another move
You start each level with three lives. Tapping an arrow with no valid partner costs one.
Hint reveals an available move. Rotate changes an arrow’s direction; Recolor changes its color. Rotate and Recolor stay in your wallet between levels — trade the coins you earn for extra charges in the Exchange Shop. Spend them to reshape the board when the order fights back.
Play at your pace
• No timer — a relaxing pace you set yourself.
• A campaign of 200 levels — from gentle openings to boards that demand a real plan.
• Smart mode: compact boards where nothing is filler — few arrows, open space, and only one order that clears them all. Ready from the start; no lives, and any move can be undone.
• Expert mode: bigger boards cut into a snowflake, on a ladder of their own — it opens after level 10, and every win there pays double.
• Automatic save lets you stop and return to an unfinished level.
• The game works offline.
• An ink-and-paper look with a subtle manga influence gives the board its visual character.
