Pro is available as a weekly, monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial.
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

The app wouldn't finish processing my photo of a page of A4 handwritten notes. After over 2 minutes I gave up.

That was a real problem with the 2019 handwriting engine — it ran on the device and could stall on a full A4 page. Recognition was moved to a new engine in 2025: a page of handwritten notes now comes back in seconds, and printed text works in 120+ languages. If you still have those notes, we'd be glad to show the difference — open the app and message us in live chat.

Version 1.4 gated results behind a purchase after the first page, and that deserved the rating. The app works differently now: scanning, folders and search are free with no limits and no ads, and the paid part is clearly separate — conversion to Word and Excel, translation, PDF editing, with a 7-day trial on the annual plan. If you'd like to try again, live chat in the app is there if anything's unclear.
