The idea for the game is good but it is very glitchy, now you cannot upgrade players which defeats the purpose of the game.There doesn’t seem a way that you can upgrade players to the top level without paying.I have been playing for a few months trying to give it a chance but now it’s becoming annoying because of all the issues, not far from deleting the game to be honest.

Frequent crashes and long loading times, often not responsive on menus and have lost games because they fail to load. Season pass feature has proven well in other games but in this case is far too overpriced for a game with the number of bugs in it. I believe the very popular Brawlstars season pass is only $15aud rather than $28aud. The loss of wickets while batting seems to be broken in the favour of bowling at times. Not yet at the stage where my starter players are maxed out in stars and levels but unable to see an option to upgrade them further which is disappointing. As a player getting attached to your team is fun without having to replace them constantly. Gameplay wise the game is solid and graphics are fun though as mentioned above…some of the loss of wicket while batting feels broken in favour of the bowling team especially when powerups are activated.Edited review January 2022. Unplayable due to frequent crashes. Unable to collect net sessions rewards without crashing the app. Overall good game when you can get it to work. Frequent crashes. In app purchases too expensive, and not worth purchasing at any price with how unstable the game is.

These new updates have changed the game for the worse

So I have been playing this game on and off for years now I even have purchased the season pass on multiple occasions but recently I have started to notice weird bugs and glitches, the fast mode you get on buying the season pass is filled with them, normally I have seen my batters never miss anything above 80 percent or get out on them and that wasn’t across a game or two, that is across hundreds of games but on fast mode somehow they miss or get out even on 87 percent probability, would love it if you guys could fix that and secondly there are other glitches on fast mode like the strike wouldn’t rotate at over end, runs getting counted towards scoreboard but not towards individual players and a lot more and all of this just on the fast mode, then another major issue is incorrect stats being counted, sometimes the game counts stats towards players who did not bat in the game or at times even when they aren’t in the lineup, so please fix that to just updating when they actually do bat because I track my stats for my core batsmen and love to improve them gradually both in terms of power and stats but the incorrect match factoring hurts their average and strike rate and the fast mode being so glitchy hurts it even more, another thing it’s way to expensive here in Aus, very expensive for season pass and others can’t spend so much on a game, another recommendation would be to actually give more star up tokens because you genuinely can’t star up players anymore, it takes almost months to accumulate enough star up tokens to upgrade one card, so please fix that or change that system because this is turning into a much pay to play game which is alright but give enough to actually make it playable, look at supercell even they updated clash of clans because now a person is not willing to wait months to accumulate things to upgrade once, they fixed it now so please you guys fix these bugs and glitches and try to improve the experience and make it playable for players who don’t want to spend.

Never written review about any app or game but was forced to write. Was good at the start. But when you start enjoying it matches you with the very high level players so that you can’t win matches and you would be forced to buy the training points and train your players. It’s technically a pay to win game with a very high priced things to buy. When you reach a certain point you cannot win matches. If you are close to winning even 80-90% probable shots will either get missed or you get bowled so that you lose the match. Don’t get me started with the PvP mode. You never meet the player that’s equal to you, it’s always the higher level player. I am at the stage to uninstall the game. Even after paying and buying players they want more money from you rather then the player’s satisfaction.
