Pan, tilt and zoom work again on cameras added by their RTSP address. • On these cameras the PTZ arrows showed but did nothing. Every move command named the wrong camera profile, so the camera ignored it. Your saved cameras now move, with no need to add them again • The zoom buttons now send a real zoom command. Before, a zoom press did nothing on many cameras. The crash on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 is fixed. • Version 3.25 closed as soon as you opened a camera or a group on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. The app was starting its audio engine before giving it an output to play through, and iOS 27 no longer allows that. The output is now set up first • Sound on iOS 27 works again, on both iPhone and iPad • The audio engine now has tests that run on the newest iOS before every release, so a break like this is caught before it reaches you Two updates in a row tried to fix sound on iOS 27, and the second one made things worse. Sound is back on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. • Version 3.24 played no audio at all on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. The system now rejects an audio option the app had always set, and the previous update treated that as a reason to keep the sound off. A camera whose clock is off now logs in, and a PC on your network no longer shows up in the scan as a locked camera. • Cameras and recorders whose clock has drifted — no time server, a dead battery — now accept a correct password. When a camera stopped sending without closing the connection properly — a Wi-Fi dropout, a nightly reboot — the app kept waiting on video that was never coming, and the last frame stayed on screen looking live. It now notices within seconds and reconnects • A camera that holds the connection open but quietly stops sending pictures is caught the same way, instead of leaving a still image behind • PTZ controls now appear for cameras that don't ask for a password. A clear way in when a camera refuses the password. • When a camera answers but rejects the login, the error screen now says so in plain words and adds an "Enter Username & Password" button that opens straight onto the credential fields. Cameras whose ONVIF replies without a password but whose video stream demands one were saved with no login at all, and the only button on offer was a Retry that could never work • Scan reports sent to support now include the name each camera showed in the list, and whether a Test Connection sent a login, so a missing password can be told from a wrong one This one came from a scan report sent in by a Kiwatch owner whose camera was found on the first scan and then refused every login.
