THIRTY YEARS OF CONTEXT Is this hot, or just summer? A thirty-year climate chart for your exact place answers. And On This Day shows what today’s date has looked like across the years - the warmest, the coldest, and where this year falls. HONEST ABOUT ACCURACY Every forecast in WeatherMetro names the weather model behind it, and the models are scored and ranked against what actually happened at your place. Few weather apps tell you where the forecast comes from - fewer still tell you how often it has been right. LIGHT, ALL YEAR Sunrise, sunset and twilight for the whole year, for any place - and it works offline. Plan the golden hour in a place you have not landed in yet. THE FEED Radar shows you the rain; the Feed shows you the hail on someone’s balcony three streets away. See what people near your place are posting about the sky right now, and add what you can see out your own window. A SKY THAT KEEPS TIME The app is drawn on the Skyshift gradient: its colours follow the real sky through dawn, day, dusk and night. You can often tell the weather from the colour of the screen before you read a word. PRIVACY, THE SHORT VERSION We use your location to pick a place, then forget it. We do not store a location history, we do not sell data to anyone, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Analytics is anonymous, off by default, and turning it off actually stops collection rather than hiding it.
