Choose your severe weather alerts, arrange your dashboard, and see when conditions change. • Choose your severe weather alerts: switch 11 alert families on or off, including tornadoes, thunderstorms, floods, and winter weather. Your choices apply across iPhone, widgets, Mac and Apple Watch connected to the same server. • Distinct alert tones: warnings use an urgent tone; watches and advisories use a softer one. Preview both in Alerts. Warnings are Time Sensitive on iPhone, subject to your notification settings. Warnings and watches bypass the app's quiet hours; advisories and statements wait until quiet hours end. • Weather watches: alerts for nearby lightning, frost, heat, fast pressure drops, the season's first frost, low batteries and silent sensors. Lightning alerts include an all clear 30 minutes after the last strike. On by default; manage the switch in Alerts, Rain and heat. • Arrange your dashboard and Charts: reorder or hide station cards, page sections and charts in Settings, Dashboard. Alerts and the forecast stay pinned at the top, and new cards appear automatically. • What changed: a timeline below rain history shows when rain started or stopped, wind shifted, pressure changed direction, skies cleared or clouded over, and the day's high and low occurred. Read it in your units, with a divider between days. • Bring your history with you: import a WeeWX database or CSV file in Settings, Data. Choose CSV column mappings, preview the import with a dry run, and rebuild history summaries if needed. • Calibrate sensors in your own units: set an offset or scale for each station in Settings, Stations. Corrections apply to new readings; existing history stays unchanged. • Nine new Backyard science readings: apparent temperature, humidex, vapour pressure deficit, cloud base, a clearly labelled single-reading PM2.5 air quality index, wind run, sunshine hours, chill hours and evapotranspiration. • Source health at a glance: see the past 24 hours under each station, including service responses, missing readings and server problems. Unmonitored hours are marked unknown. • Soil readings: view moisture and temperature from up to eight probe channels, with bars and plain-language labels beside each reading. • Put any station on your Home Screen: choose a station for each dashboard widget instead of following the primary station. • Your stations in Spotlight: search for a station by name and open it straight into the app. • Choose your report email appearance: dark, light, follow the sky at your station, or follow your device. Find Email under Quiet hours and reports. • Share with more weather networks: Met Office WOW, AWEKAS and OpenWeatherMap are now available under Sharing. • Test push delivery from the alert setup page without creating a threshold rule. • The sun dial now uses the station's time zone, so its marker and labels agree when you view a station elsewhere. • WeatherLink Live reconnects after an address change: the Mac bridge and server find the gateway by its ID. • Fixes improve threshold saving, push registration on a new phone, iCloud restores, and report email colors. Backups no longer trigger false disk alarms. Some new features require the free 2.4 server update in Settings. The app remains compatible with 2.3 servers.

A map of shared stations, three more Live Activities, and Siri for any reading. • Share on the map: one switch puts your station on the shared map at maps.zasder.com with its outdoor conditions and a location rounded to your choice of exact, half a kilometer, or ten. The pin carries an assigned ID rather than your server's address unless you say otherwise, and switching off takes it down. The map is in the app too, with pins coloured by temperature, rain, wind, humidity, dew point, pressure or UV. • Lightning, wind and freeze on the Lock Screen: a strike within your chosen distance opens a Live Activity with the nearest strike, its trend and a countdown to all clear. Gusts past your threshold open one with the gust against the peak and the direction. A freeze night follows the temperature to sunrise and marks the moment it froze. Each has its own switch, and the rain countdown now reaches the Apple Watch Smart Stack. • Ask Siri for any reading: temperature, feels like, humidity, dew point, wind, gust, rain today, rain rate, pressure, UV, solar, lightning, indoor temperature or air quality, in your units, with a plain "isn't measuring" for a sensor the station lacks. Ask for the forecast for today, tonight, tomorrow, or the day after, or whether it will rain, and hear the chance as a percentage. Rain totals, records, the last rain, and a climate report answer too. • A dashboard widget the size of a Home Screen page: current conditions, the last 24 hours as a curve, the week ahead, sunrise and sunset, in large, extra large and, on iOS 27, the tall extra large. • How accurate is the forecast here: the Reports pane scores the forecast archive your server has kept against your own readings, by how far ahead the forecast was made. • Today's highlights under the hero: "Hottest mid-September day in 8 years", "No rain in 47 days", ranked against your station's own record and said in your units. • Tap a day in the six-day forecast to read that day's written forecast. The hero row shows how today compares with yesterday and the forecast; wind charts show where the wind came from, and the curves mark sunrise, solar noon, and sunset. • The Sun & Moon card gets its moon: an arc for the hours it is up, a drawn phase, moonrise and moonset, the next full and new. The Almanac names solar noon and the fully dark sky. • Push from a site you own: a second server you run can push its alerts and reports to this phone, and tapping one opens the app on that site. • The outlook report and storm summary emails arrive as cards; the outlook push carries the forecast itself; a severe-weather push switch with a warnings-only filter; alert rules take a note and open the link you keep for them; and a storm summary push opens its report. • Rain from a lifetime counter is right on a day the gauge reset twice; a manual change to the counter is not rain; and the day's totals on the dashboard come from the same ledger as history. • Dozens of fixes, including the forecast accuracy page loading on every server, an update chain of weather alerts pushing once, and many more.

A switcher under the Dashboard header moves the whole app to a site, its last readings appear at once, and a dot on each site says how fresh it is. Share a site with a read-only or read-and-write link; a site link opened on a phone that already has a server adds it instead of replacing yours. Push, widgets and the Watch stay on your own server. • Siri and Shortcuts: ask "current conditions in Zasder Weather" and hear the temperature, feels like, humidity, wind, rain and air numbers, or use Get Current Conditions in a Shortcut and work with the values. Open a Chart opens the app on any station's chart. • Outlook report: tomorrow's forecast in the evening or today's in the morning, at the time you pick, from Open-Meteo or Weather Underground, as a push, an email and a report you can open again. • Sky notes: before sunset, tonight's moon and a verdict for the telescope from your station's humidity, dew point and wind and the cloud forecast, with the option to hear only about good nights. • Whose fault it is: when a cloud station goes quiet, the station says whether the vendor's service is down, your credentials were rejected, you are being rate limited, or the server failed to store it. When a refresh fails, the app says whether your phone is offline or your server is unreachable, and keeps the last readings on screen. • Air-monitor alerts: rules on CO2 and PM2.5 for your AirGradient or Govee, with sensible defaults. • Share this detailed chart: the whole Charts page on one card, on the live window or any past day. • Daily climate report: the NOAA-style table for a single day, one row per hour. • Charts, History and Records use one clear set of selectors: a square row for the station or pane, filled chips for the field, and a bar for the time range. • Long-period averages for humidity, wind and pressure, and day totals from a lifetime rain counter that know when the counter reset. • The "Air outside is wetter" note shows once a day instead of all day, the Tempest day total no longer double counts after a RainCheck correction, and setup links open the app from inside Safari. • Many smaller fixes and refinements throughout.

Reports, Explore, and your own weather in Claude or ChatGPT. • Reports: your morning report and every storm summary are kept, so you can open them again. A Reports pane in History lists them newest first, and you can run a classic monthly or yearly climate report for any station in the NOAA style, with extremes, rain and degree days. Tap a report notification and it opens to that report. • Explore: the History chip is now Explore. Tap any past day to open that day's full 24 hour charts, with its high, low and rain, and step day by day from there. • Connect Claude or ChatGPT: your server now speaks the MCP protocol. Connect an assistant from Settings, Sharing, Connected apps, approve it once, and ask about your own weather using your own subscription. No provider keys are stored on your server. • Share to weather networks: PWSWeather, Windy, WeatherCloud, CWOP and Weather Underground from one screen. Pick which station each network gets, choose how often to send, and use Save and verify to see the network's answer on the spot. Windy uses its new station API, with the station ID and password from your station's page. • Backups and restore: restore your server from a database backup, after a confirmation that says exactly what will be replaced. The Mac app can back up the server's database on a schedule. • Every reading gets its own Big watch complication, one per measurement. • Story cards for every station, and a server recommendations card when your Fly machine could use more memory or disk. • Sign in with Fly, as a beta option, so the wizard can create a server without pasting a token. • The station name shows on Charts and History, and air monitors keep the place you give them on the Dashboard. • Stations that report only a lifetime rain counter now show this year's rain plus the lifetime total, and rain totals restart correctly after a gauge reset. • A slow station no longer holds up the others: every station's current reading loads before any history. • Changing servers saves the address and token together, and weather warnings and forecasts follow the station's location. • Every credential you copy is copied privately and expires, the poll status dot speaks to VoiceOver, and settings are arranged by what they do. • Many smaller fixes and refinements throughout.

Your weather, told as stories worth sharing. • Story cards: twenty-one shareable cards written from your own station's record, in your units. How Hot Is Hot, the Dry Spell, the Wildest Day, the Water Year, the Shape of a Year, the Humidity Tax, the Barometer's Call, the Forecast versus your backyard, Tonight's Sky, and more. Worth Sharing on the Dashboard picks the best of the day; the Insights tab has them all. Each has a share link with a QR code. • The Comfortable Months: which month is the one to be outside. Every month ranked by how much of a waking day felt comfortable, this year beside the whole record. • Rename any station from Settings, and the name follows it everywhere: alerts, storm summaries, the morning report, story cards and the public page. • Air monitors get their picture: a 24 hour PM2.5 chart under the air card, and a CO2 hero and chart for monitors without a particle sensor. • Govee CO2 monitors join as a cloud source (Settings, Integrations, Govee), beside AirGradient. Ecowitt gateways can now reach an HTTPS-only server through Ecowitt Cloud. • Alerts you can arrange: sort by measurement and threshold so a ladder reads as a ladder, group by device or by measurement, filter to active or paused, and a Duplicate chip on any rule that repeats another. • The morning report at the minute you choose, not on the hour. • Watch stat rows now open the matching chart. • The header shows the newest reading's time, never the poll clock, and a refresh that stalled in the background restarts instead of serving stale numbers. • A calmer color language: one color per quantity on every screen, chart, tile, and widget, and the heat grids now show the worst hours in red instead of an orange blur. • Charts keep the swipe-back gesture off the plot so scrubbing never leaves the tab. • Share cards keep every word readable on a phone screen at share size, with a floor on text size across the family. • Many smaller fixes and refinements throughout.

Wake up to your weather, and show it off. • Morning report: at your chosen hour, a report card lands on your Lock Screen with yesterday's high, low, rain, and peak gust plus today's outlook. A matching push and a beautifully formatted email round it out. (Needs the free 1.9 server update, one tap in Settings.) • Share cards: turn your data into graphics worth posting. Storm Report, Record Book, Growing Season, Wind Event, Rain Race, Month Wrap, and Year Wrap, each rendered in the app's design and ready for Messages or social. • Week records: records now include the past seven days, so "hottest day this week" is one glance, and any record is shareable with its period. • Climate, the long view: year-span charts, heating and cooling degree days, water-year rain totals, and the classic NOAA-style climate report generated from your own station. • Ecowitt gateways connect directly: point the gateway's custom upload at your server and readings flow with no vendor cloud and no extra hardware. Already running WeeWX? A small bridge extension forwards every archive record. • Write-access sharing: hand a trusted person a link that can rename stations, adjust alerts, and register their own phone for push, while everything administrative stays yours. Every change is logged with who made it. • Guided Setup on iPhone: no server yet? The app can create one for you, right from the phone. Paste a Fly.io token and it handles the rest, no command line. • A new Major alert level sits between Standard and Urgent: it ignores quiet hours but arrives as a normal notification. Urgent alerts are now Time Sensitive and break through Focus modes. • History that ages gracefully: keep years of data on a small server by thinning old raw readings while daily records stay exact. You control it from Settings, with a storage breakdown showing exactly where the bytes go. • Storm history: past storms are now browsable with their totals, peak rates, and gusts, and storm notifications fit cleanly on one Lock Screen line. • Glance mode: an optional simplified dashboard that answers "are we okay" above the fold. Your station now watches the sky for you, and the air you breathe made the dashboard. • Smart alerts: sudden temperature drops, wind ramp-ups, gust fronts, and sustained pipe-freeze cold, detected from your own station's readings. Related alerts arriving together group into a single "front passage" notification, and the first frost of the season gets a once-a-year heads-up. • Alert urgency: every threshold alert can be Minor, Standard, or Urgent. Urgent alerts break through quiet hours; minor ones wait for morning. • Quiet hours and a daily digest: overnight, only urgent alerts push. One morning email summarizes everything that fired. • Government severe weather alerts now push through your own server, so a Severe Thunderstorm Warning reaches you even with the app closed. One push per alert, however many stations you run. • Lightning alerts for stations that detect strikes: first strike, closing strikes, and a 30-minute all clear. • Station health: sensor battery low and recovered, sensors gone quiet, and stuck-sensor detection (a humidity gauge pegged for hours, an anemometer that stopped turning). • Storm Watch on your Lock Screen: a Live Activity tracks rain total, rate, and peak gust for the storm in progress, and you can start one manually when you see it coming. Hot days get an all-day tracker with the running high. • Share to weather networks: send your readings to PWSWeather, Windy, WeatherCloud, and CWOP (where your data feeds NOAA's forecast models). Each network shows its last successful send right on the row. • Air quality: AirGradient monitors join the dashboard as their own compact card with AQI, PM2.5, CO2, and TVOC. Rain is coming, and now your Lock Screen counts it down. • Rain-start countdown: when rain is expected within the hour, a Live Activity appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island and counts down to the first drops. (Needs the free 1.7 server update with one tap in Settings.) • Alert history: a new Recently Triggered section shows what fired and when, and you can now edit an alert rule in place instead of deleting and recreating it. • Wind alerts got smarter: a rule re-arms only after a sustained calm period, so a gusty afternoon is one alert, not one every few minutes. • Storm summaries got their own screen: choose push, email, or both, and mute individual stations. Severe Weather Alerts, iPad Support, and Automatic iCloud Backup • National Weather Service alerts: Active warnings, watches, and advisories for your station’s area now appear in a dashboard banner. Tap it to read the full alert. The Home Screen widget also displays a red corner marker while a warning is active. Enable alerts in Settings. • iPad support: Zasder Weather now runs full screen on iPad. • Automatic iCloud backup: Enable it once to keep your settings—including your server connection—backed up to iCloud Drive. Your 10 most recent changes are retained, and setting up a new device takes just one tap. • Configurable widgets: Choose from nine readings for the six slots on your Home Screen widget. Zasder Weather now runs on your Mac — included with your purchase. • New Mac app: the full dashboard, charts and records on your desktop, with the same backend connection. If you own the iPhone app, the Mac version is included at no extra cost. • Light mode. Choose Light, Dark, or Automatic to follow your system — the app is no longer dark-only. • Back up your settings. Export everything to a single file you can keep in Files or iCloud Drive, and import it to set up another device without retyping anything. • Back up your server configuration too — alert rules, thresholds and device settings, saved straight from the app. • New Sources screen shows the health of each data source, so a poller that quietly stopped is no longer indistinguishable from dead hardware at the station. Fixes: • Background push appeared to switch itself off. The app was not remembering that you had enabled it, so every relaunch showed the setup button again as if nothing had happened. It now shows that push is on, and when it was last confirmed working. • More seriously: if your device's notification address changed — after restoring from a backup, reinstalling, or some iOS updates — alerts stopped arriving with no indication why, and re-running setup by hand was the only cure. The app now re-checks this automatically at every launch.

Records — see your station's all-time highs and lows. • New Records tab: hottest and coldest, hottest and coldest feels-like, highest and lowest dew point, most humid and driest, peak wind and gust, wettest day, pressure extremes, highest UV and peak solar — each with the date it happened. • Switch between Today, this Month, this Year, and All-Time. • Wind gust is now a chart you can open, alongside wind speed. • Clearer first-run setup that points to the guided hardware planner. Fixes: • The 7-day forecast strip showed the wrong day for anyone west of UTC — including all of the US. Fixed, and "TODAY" now highlights correctly. • Metric users: rain and pressure units now apply on the home-screen widget and Apple Watch too, and pressure/rain charts scale correctly. • The big temperature reading could show a stray extra digit, and read a whole degree too cold below zero. • Charts no longer snap back to 24 hours while you're viewing a longer range. • A failed Keychain read could sign you out of your own backend. • Faster failure and a clear message when your backend is unreachable, instead of an endless spinner.
