What we love: The wild variety of tea bases, add-ons and toppings to unlock. Make custom concoctions for bears in lab coats and turtles in business suits – perhaps honeydew tea infused with dinosaur-shaped boba and topped with gummy worms. Can we get this in real life?

Quick tip: See a jiggling teapot on the drink counter? Tap it to start a quick mini-game, such as timing the perfect pour or nailing the ideal tea temperature. The better you do, the more the customer will pay for their drink.

Meet the creator: Bria Sullivan designed Boba Story using feedback from players who enjoy bubble tea – every tea type and topping in the game was suggested by a real person. Sullivan’s Honey B Games also teamed up with YouTube star Hank Green to make the cosy productivity app Focus Friend, a 2025 App Store Award winner.
