Optional Private Cloud Translation is now available in the App Store and volume-purchase editions on macOS 27. Translate using Apple's Private Cloud Compute servers and continue with installed on-device translation when cloud translation is unavailable. New regional translation targets on macOS 27 include Arabic (Saudi Arabia), Dutch (Belgium), French (Belgium and Switzerland), German (Austria), and Spanish (Chile). Danish and Swedish live subtitles and translation are now available on Macs running macOS 26.4 or later. Choose separate text alignment for spoken and translated subtitles, with improved caption scaling and resizing. Improved reliability when stopping and immediately restarting live captions, including sessions where no audio was received. Improved Settings window stability, initial layout, and launch behavior on macOS 26. Reduced unnecessary menu bar visibility warnings and refined the menu bar icon shown during onboarding.

Improved translation reliability during live captions and language changes. Transcrybe now retries stalled macOS system translation sessions and, if language data remains unusable, shows recovery steps instead of staying on “Warming Up...” indefinitely. Improved recovery from brief macOS screen-capture interruptions so subtitles keep retrying silently instead of stopping with an error.
