Use Airpods with your Mac? Buy this.Use a Magic Mouse or Trackpad? Buy this.Use a Logitech mouse? Buy this.My Bluetooth devices all work better with ToothFairy. There is some sort of Bluetooth bug with macOS, and ToothFairy makes it easier to live with. Thank you, Command-C Software!
I'd love to say buy this.... which I willl. But really we ALL should be saying to Apple... BUY THIS and build it into MacOS. It is that good of a toolbox of solutions.
Toothfairy saves me a lot of time and annoyance with both my desktop and laptop. It works 10x better than the normal MacOS bluetooth connection software. Thank you!
Ever since updating to macOS Big Sur the app no longer works. Whenever I try to launch it I am always presented when an error saying the app is damaged.
Developer ResponsePlease try updating to ToothFairy 2.7.2. I think that works around the macOS issue that could cause that error.
Did not fix my issue with my airpod connection. I want a refund
Developer ResponseAs mentioned in the product description, ToothFairy is intended for use with Bluetooth devise that already work with your Mac. It’s a shortcut for quickly connecting devices, not a replacement of macOS’s Bluetooth subsystem. You may be able to follow these instructions https://c-command.com/toothfairy/help/why-isn-t-my-device-con to get your Bluetooth working. If there is a hardware problem, interference, or a macOS issue that prevents the Bluetooth connection from working, installing ToothFairy will not fix that. When you purchase from Apple’s Mac App Store, the developer of the application does not have the ability to give you a refund. However, you can ask Apple for one: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084
Developer ResponseToothFairy works for switching devices that are already paired with your Mac. Apple’s current-generation Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse only support pairing with one computer at at time, so you would have to manually pair them each time you switch. The first-generation Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse, as well as many third-party devices, do support pairing with multiple computers at once, and so for those devices you can switch simply using ToothFairy.
Connects and disconnets from my phone to my mac or vice versa diring calls, it is really bad, it is better to connect and disconnect manually
Developer ResponseToothFairy is only involved in initiating the connection with your Bluetooth device. After the connection is made, it’s handled by macOS and should work identically to connections initiated in other ways. Spontaneous disconnections can be caused by a variety of software and hardware factors. I recommend going through the troubleshooting list here: https://c-command.com/toothfairy/help/why-isn-t-my-device-con
This should be part of macOS. Seriously. It's so easy to use and SO convenient. Nothing more needs to be said, other than "it just works".
I've bought Airpods Pro and was disappointed to find that I can't use it with my Mac. It made no sense. It connects for a few seconds and then disconnects. It was frustrating. But this worked like magic. I should have bought this much earlier.
My headphones could connect fine to mac before I installed this app.Installed it and they no longer can.Uninstalled it and they started to work again.Do not buy.
Developer ResponseSorry to hear that your headphones aren’t connecting. Since ToothFairy doesn’t modify the system (it’s just a convenient switch that uses the same API to initiate a connection as Apple’s own Bluetooth menu), quitting or uninstalling it doesn’t actually change anything. So, most likely, whatever temporary condition caused the connection problem has already been resolved. We have some Bluetooth troubleshooting information here https://c-command.com/toothfairy/help/why-isn-t-my-device-con and can also provide assistance at toothfairy@c-command.com.
