Open Microsoft Access MDB and ACCDB files, inspect any table, and export clean CSV or a native SQLite database — right on your Mac, with no Office install, no accounts, and nothing uploaded.
Point it at a .mdb or .accdb file. View a table to check you have the right data, then pick the tables you want, choose a folder, and export. That's it.
BIG DATABASES ARE FINE
Tested on files over a gigabyte, with hundreds of tables and millions of rows. A table with 600,000 rows opens in a couple of seconds and scrolls from the first row to the last. The old Access database someone has been adding to for fifteen years is the normal case here, not the hard one.
WHAT IT DOES
• Reads .mdb and .accdb databases (Access 97 through 2019)
• Lists every table with its row and column counts
• Opens any table in a read-only viewer — scroll through every row and column before you export
• Exports the tables you select to CSV files, or to one native SQLite database
• Batch mode: drop several databases — or a whole folder — and export every one at once
• Exports password-protected (encrypted) databases when you provide the password
OUTPUT THAT FITS YOUR TOOLS
• CSV your way: comma, semicolon, or tab (TSV), with an optional UTF-8 byte-order mark so Excel reads accented and non-English text correctly
• SQLite: a single, ready-to-open .sqlite database — ideal for migrating off Access
• A summary is written alongside every export — readable text plus machine-readable JSON and CSV
SAFE BY DESIGN
• Read-only throughout: cells can be read but never edited, and your original database is never modified
• Runs entirely on your Mac — no network, no cloud, no tracking, no analytics
• Passwords are used only in memory to open a file; they are never stored or sent
