This app is so good it forced me to drop out of business school, divorce my wife, move halfway across the world and embark on a new career as a professional graphic designer. 1 star removed solely because I miss my wife and had it not been for this app I would’ve probably still been with her and bought her birkins but now I’m designing birkins I’ll never afford. Nevertheless, the app definitely does what it’s supposed to, so cheers!

Absolutely awesome vector drawing app! I tried so many of them and this one is my favorite. On a circle drawing, i need to see the Center of it so that I can align other circles to it (geometry drawing). Is there a way to display the Center of circles at all time?

Vectornator has two major problems. First, no iCloud file sync—files are saved on-device only. You can import and export, but that gets old pretty fast with multiple devices. It's odd, since they're iOS only. Perhaps that will come when they finish the free app growth-hacking. They're evasive about their business model, burning investor cash for now. They'll have to make money eventually. Second, it's practically useless in portrait orientation. The huge panel nearly always present on the side takes up over a third of the screen in portrait. In landscape, it's only about a quarter, which is still too much, since it's a pain to dismiss. Maybe it's fine on a 12.9 iPad Pro, but no way on an iPad mini and it's tight on a normal iPad. Other quibbles: The icons/tools are too small, too many, and not clear. The canvas rotates too easily, very disorienting. Confusing panel functions are split between the top and bottom of screen. I gather they're working on the UI, so maybe that will improve. Also, there are no real settings/preferences/customizations.That said, it is well polished and stable, and it's quite good at detail work like bezier line editing. Overall, it seems more oriented toward artists than technical drawing. It's an app worth watching. Get it now, but don't invest all your work in it until it matures and they settle on a pricing plan.

On sync: it's available now for those who want it, fully optional, and local files still work without an account. On the UI: the entire interface has been rebuilt, with much better portrait support, clearer icons, and proper settings and preferences. On the business model: there's a clear pricing model in place. The "worth watching" app you described has had a lot of time to mature. If you ever want to take another look, support@linearity.io reaches us directly and we'd genuinely love your read on the current version. If it's matured the way you hoped, updating your review to 5 stars would mean a lot to our team.

Linearity Curve 6.12 introduces the new Image and Vector Asset generation modes and a Generation Queue — along with new downloadable fonts, an Auto Trace preview, and a round of editing, SVG, and performance improvements. IMAGE MODE You can now generate a finished image directly from a text prompt, right on your canvas. Describe what you need and place, scale, and build on the result in seconds. VECTOR ASSET MODE Generate fully editable vector assets from a text prompt — icons, logos, illustrations, and graphic elements. Every shape lands on its own layer and every path stays editable, so each result is yours to refine right away. GENERATION QUEUE Run several generations at once and keep designing while they finish in the background. Line up multiple requests and pick up each result as it's ready. LINEARITY FONTS Access additional fonts directly from the font selector. New fonts can be downloaded in the app whenever you need them, without leaving your document. AUTO TRACE PREVIEW Auto Trace now shows a live preview before you apply it. Try different settings and modes and see each result before you commit to one. MORE IMPROVEMENTS Text editing now respects alignment, so the edit box expands in the right direction for left, center, and right-aligned text.
