Live Mode now has a toggle in Settings so it can be added or removed from the main Intersector interface.

For VoiceOver users, Walking and Driving Live Modes can now be accessed directly through the Live button using accessibility actions. You can now toggle quickly between the two without having to dig through the Settings. Live Driving Mode now understands when you enter a highway, and shuts Live mode off to preserve battery life. Turn Live Mode back on when exiting the highway for continued intersection announcements. Lots of under-the-hood fixes and tweaks to ensure Live Mode stays functional and accurate in both modes.

Intersector now has a Live Mode! Choose Walking or Driving in the Settings screen, choose your favorite system voice, volume, and speech rate, turn the mode on, and get live intersection updates with your phone locked and while you are on the move! Or when you are trying to play WordBopper while paying attention to your location when in a rideshare. Live Mode can be set to turn off when you have been idle for a set amount of time, so no need to worry about forgetting to turn it off. Use Live Mode in addition to your turn-by-turn direction app of choice, while on the subway or bus, or when in a car while not on a highway!

Tidied up the Settings screen and fixed some underlying interface bugs.

The loading states and spinner have been reworked for better low-vision support. A border will surround the text while Intersector is working and fades away when the response is ready. The Settings screen now has better Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support for the various announcement controls. Crossings are now implemented to be much more accurate based on the OpenStreetMap data.

Lots of under-the-hood reworking to make Crossings more accurate when that option is turned on. Identifies mid-block pedestrian crossings and filters out unnamed service road data that may show up closer to named intersections. Further improvements to help with loading the initial map data for Nearest and Upcoming queries. Visual updates for the primary app buttons, including a more distinct Scan button. "Point and Scan" is now renamed to "Scan" across the ap. Watch App no longer has "Current Info" heading, opening up more visual space for enlarged text.

Major low-vision visual updates to the Settings screen to help make controls more distinct. You can now choose different Display modes for the incoming information. A Help screen has been added to further explain all of the app features and settings. Street Context has been removed to simplify the Settings and announcements. The action chevrons on Nearest and Upcoming are a much more manageable size. Lots of under-the-hood work done to make map data lookup go faster and to prevent longer lookups from sinking the app. Walkways and Crossings have been bolstered, along with a brand new Upcoming intersection system that is much more accurate and takes road shape into account. Siri text and intents have been fixed for both the Watch and Phone app versions.
