Data snapshots dramatically speeds up synchronisation with iCloud when syncing on a new device or a device that hasn’t be used for a while. Snapshots are automatically saved to iCloud on a daily basis, as part of the standard sync procedure. In addition to this, we also improved traditional initial syncing performance.
