Aliens have boarded your ship and made off with Scooty, your trusty steed. There's only one thing a Sheriff can do: grab your revolver, take aim, and shoot your way across space to get him back! Shoot'em & Scoot'em is a space-western puzzle platformer with a unique movement mechanic there's no jump button. Every shot is your movement. Fire your gun and the recoil rockets you the OPPOSITE way: shoot down to fly up, shoot right to fly left. PLAY HOW YOU WANT Just want to reach Scooty? Fly straight to the finish. Want to master the game? Wipe out every alien on a level to earn all 3 stars! Don't like puzzling? Try out endless mode! WHAT'S WAITING OUT THERE - 60 handcrafted levels packed with puzzles and gunplay - 3 environments to blast through: the Sheriff's spaceship, an asteroid field, and an alien planet - Traps and tricks along the way: sound-sensitive lasers, moving platforms, portals, and extra-ammo pickups (who put those there?!) - Two ways to shoot: some levels demand the revolver's precision; others send you blasting across the universe with the shotgun! - Climb to outer space in endless mode! - 15 achievements to hunt down! Some unlock hats to style the Sheriff! - Can be played fully offline! - One optional in-app purchase gives Scooty a makeover to go with your hats everything else is completely free! New - Cloud saves via iCloud - progress now syncs across your devices through Game Center, with a sync indicator and automatic re-sync when the game comes back to the foreground. Offline play is synced next time player is online - Endless mode: gun pickups - grab a floating shotgun or pistol mid-climb to swap weapons until you find another - Endless mode: smarter camera - landing barely below the screen edge now rescues you instead of killing you - Endless mode: Add player wrapping. Player can now shoot off screen to the right or left and teleport to the other side - Reset progress - new option that wipes both device and iCloud saves. Levels & balance - Level 1 now gives 6 bullets - Level 3 now gives 5 bullets - Lasers are introduced earlier - first appearing at level 4 with a follow-up at level 7 - Added hint for explaining lasers - Tutorial text - Level 1 now tells you that you earn stars for every alien killed. Fixes - Fixed several unfair endless-mode deaths (deaths while paused, landings that were visibly safe still killing you, platforms clipping the screen edge). - Fixed broken rendering on low-end GPUs.
