In the corner - Your corner will no longer throw in the towel on a fighter who is clearly winning, unless he is badly hurt or has just been dropped. - No more retirements in the opening round for a fighter who isn't badly hurt. - The towel is now offered to you at the same point your opponent's corner would act. A smaller fighter used to have to absorb proportionally far more punishment before you got the option. - A stoppage on the stool now shows the correct round. Long-running saves - Fixed the crashes on the stable, matchmaker, show matchmaker, rankings, bouts, fight record, and Hall of Fame lists. - A fighter with no last fight no longer shows the previous fighter's result. - The Ringside gym filter no longer crashes on an empty age box, and Create A Fighter and Add A Son no longer crash if you type letters into the age field. Reporting a problem - The in-game report button now works whether or not you use Apple Mail.

Stability - Fixed a crash when scrolling through your stable or the matchmaker’s opponent list. - Fixed a crash on the Hall of Fame and fighter profile cards. - Fixed a crash when confirming a fight for a fighter with a short contract. - If your save data can’t be opened, the game now explains the issue instead of refusing to start. Money - Title fights booked from offers now pay your fighter their proper share of the gate. - XP purchases now always arrive. Some players paid and received nothing. If that was you, contact us and we’ll sort it out. - Away fights’ crowds were being discounted twice. Foreign gates and ticket forecasts are now functioning correctly. - The venue screen now checks your actual bank balance, removing the “can’t afford” message for venues you could afford. - Booking a venue for a card with fewer than six fights now warns you that the networks won’t broadcast it before you pay the site fee. Shows & Matchmaking - The create-show screen displays venues again, the search function actually works, and a show can no longer be created without a stadium. - Adding a world-title fight to a show: if none of your shows are far enough out for the build-up, the game now informs you instead of leaving you with a blank page. Ringside subscription - A bad connection no longer signs you out of your subscription. If Ringside ever says you’re not a member, don’t reinstall your careers live on this device. Close and reopen the app instead. Managers & Rosters & GOAT - Losses no longer impact your manager rating five times as severely as wins raise it. It can’t fall below zero and ratings already damaged heal themselves upon loading. - GOAT scores now update correctly.

Training and development - Your gym now works on the newer skills by itself: jab, hooks, footwork, head movement, counters and the rest. Set the training focus and your fighters improve week to week for free. - The Strategy focus much improved, now covering footwork, feinting and ring movement. - Conditioning can now be trained, under the Physical focus. Making fights - Matchmaking screen improved on player feedback, with a tighter opponent list and proper sorting. - Style tab: how the two styles actually compare. - Form tab: the last five fights for both fighters, side by side. - Rankings tab: where each fighter stands with every sanctioning body and the division. - Terms now shows your forecast gate and what you stand to make or lose on the night. Weight divisions - Champion's Move is back for saves without the weight pack. - Weight screens now tell you how long a move takes and why you are being held. Fight night - Referees are now more likely to wave a fight off in round one when a fighter is taking punishment. - The popup on first entry to the fight screen is gone. Shows and venues - Main events can be staged anywhere in the world. Showcase shows stay at home, where your fighters sell the tickets. - The venue list now runs home, then your country, then the world, smallest hall first. - Taking a fight abroad no longer brings your whole following with you. - Sixteen South African venues added, FNB Stadium among them. Your account and options - One subscription now covers Boxing Manager and Ringside. - Restore Purchases now sits in Game Options. Speed and performance - Advancing the week is faster, deep saves most of all. - Fighter profiles open faster. Fixed - Better world title scheduling gaps for all world title organisations. - Fighter ownership confused both ways: a ranked fighter could open as one of yours, letting you re-sign his contract, and your own champion could open as somebody else's. - Opponent records on the Record tab were too low: fights from before your career began were left out, so a 20-16-1 opponent read 10-5-1. - Punch accuracy on the fighter profile showed a fraction of the real number. - Some iPads would not launch after updating. - Damage stopped making sense past 35-40 fights, showing a 50+ fight veteran as almost unmarked. Damage already lost cannot be recovered. - A fight could inherit the previous fight's title, which led to wrong new champion announcements. - The post-fight summary never mentioned a belt changing hands. - A champion defending his own title was told it was a non-title bout. - Make Fight could show no opponents at all and stay that way. - Promoters who lost their whole roster never signed anyone again. - Created fighters ignored the style you picked. - Checking the stats mid-fight showed you the result before the final bell. - A fighter who boxed once in a paid division was stuck there for good. - The lightest divisions stalled: fighters seeded without a record could not be matched. - Crashes when opening the champions list from the rankings, and while scrolling the show list and your stable. - The fighter profile always reopened on the first tab. - Bets went missing when a fight moved week. - The weight and contract buttons on a fighter's profile disappeared at random. - Training could burn potential on a bad week, and a fighter with none left crashed the development screen. - Opponent names on the matchmaker form rows collapsed into dots. - Staging a show in a cheaper country paid far more than it should. - Fighter cards cut the top and bottom off the text. - A referee stoppage did not pay out on the stoppage bet.

- Fixed issue whereby when rankings were updated, a title could be stripped from a champion due to a duplicate champion being created. This major bug has caused issues with game stability, and we believe that the fix will resolve many downstream game world issues.

Title Engine - Fix for title stripping when title first won.

Title engine - Fighters can no longer be mandatory challenger for more than one belt at a time. This removes the gameplay bottleneck and tedium caused by one fighter being mandatory across all titles. - Fixed first week title vacation due to a data issue. Game engine - Fixed/improved/simplified PPV calculations. Player cut now 9pc of gross PPV. No more costs killings your share of the PPV loot. - Azerbaijan, Cayman Islands, and Hong Kong naming issues fixed.

* Main event shows are now easier to profit from as all fights on the card contribute to ticket and sales revenue. * The rematch process has been updated for greater realism and enjoyment. * The issue of mandatory challengers and some fights disappearing with titles becoming immediately vacant has been resolved.

Title engine fixes for quick title vacations and missing fights in record. This will prevent future instances.

* Light Flyweight fighters are now fighting. * The roster screen no longer crashes. * Retirement logic has been improved to exclude auto-retirement for older managed fighters. * A warning is now displayed when a manual fighter retirement is attempted, showing the cost to the manager. * Negative balances are now reset. * The incorrect inflated guaranteed fee for affected fighters has been corrected to prevent negative show balances.

* Fixed an issue where a challenger who beat the champion in a voluntary/non-mandatory defence as the new champion inherits the old expired deadline and was stripped the following week if old deadline was not updated correctly. * Fixed issue with incorrect weight change forcing movement of title. * Fixed issue that caused a rare issue whereby large negative values were created due to show finance issue. These balances are now reset to the previous positive amount. * Small title optimisations and adjustments

* Removed Manager IP from fighter Potential. This now uses XP as per all other attributes. * Fixed (we hope) the empty show bug and advance game loop. * Fixed title vacation issue that could not set up vacant title correctly.

* We’ve resolved the crash that occurred when signing fighters with a scheduled fight. * We’ve also fixed a bug where an NPC champion with a rematch clause might sometimes take a voluntary defence and not honour the rematch agreement. * We’ve also fixed a bug where a managed fight might end up on a non-existent show and games won’t progress. * We’ve also made some fixes for games that had a double fight booking issue from an old save.
