This update introduces major improvements to game balance, exploration, and dungeon readability. • New travel system: Return Stones are activated on levels 5, 10, and 15, allowing you to quickly travel back to town and later return to your deepest unlocked checkpoint. • New Scroll of Return: opens a temporary portal to town and allows you to return to the exact dungeon location where the portal was created. • Improved survival balance: torches and food rations are now easier to find while exploring, and newly generated dungeon levels guarantee essential survival supplies. • Monsters now have a higher chance of dropping items, including an increased chance of finding torches and food rations. • Automatic pickup for gold and treasures: simply walk over them to collect them. Gems and relics are now carried separately and no longer consume backpack space. • Completely improved level map: the map can now be zoomed up to 600%, dragged while enlarged, and quickly reset to the full-level view. • Improved readability after using a Scroll of Mapping, with much stronger contrast between floors, walls, and explored areas. • Improved bitmap graphics: floors and walls are easier to distinguish, while the dark borders between individual tiles have been reduced to create a more seamless dungeon appearance. • General interface improvements, better readability on smaller displays, and improvements to the audio system. • Bug fixes and general stability improvements.
