Weather on moving day Four days before the date, the overview shows what the weather will be like on moving day. The header card takes its colour from the temperature, a sentence says what the day brings, and if the old and new addresses are far apart, the weather is shown for both places. Labels for any sheet Print box labels on standard-size label sheets such as A6 or A7, or in a size of your own. The paper follows your destination country, and you can switch it. You choose which boxes to print, can carry on with a partly used sheet, and the app remembers which boxes already have a label. Recipients and your own statuses Decide where things go: to a charity, to family or up for sale. You can also create your own statuses for boxes, furniture, items and storage. Tasks in one list Organise your tasks by due date, category or person. Show completed tasks when you need them, and delete any task. Swipe for quick changes Swipe a box or task to the side to change its status or delete it. In lists this now works in both directions. Export and backup PDF and archive can include your photos, and you can import an archive again. When you restore a backup, it is now merged with your move instead of replacing it. More room on iPad The scanners use the whole screen. In landscape, the camera sits next to the controls. Thanks to everyone who sent us their ideas.

Homeshift Complete now costs less All three modules together are now much cheaper. That's why the bundle comes first on the purchase screen. Already bought a module? You get the rest If you bought a single module before, the other two are now unlocked as well. You don't need to do anything.

The scanner on iPad In landscape the camera image was turned a quarter of the way around. It now turns with the device, and the viewfinder fills the space it has. QR codes are read faster On devices with several lenses the app reached for the ultra wide lens, where a sticker sits half as large in the frame. It now uses the normal wide lens.

Homeshift speaks 31 languages The app follows your iPhone's language, and the checklists now cover 32 countries with the local deadlines and authorities. Handover record and values You record meter readings, keys and the people involved, then print a PDF from it. Items, furniture and storage get a value, and the app turns that into a household inventory for your insurer. Siri, Spotlight and moving day You ask "Where is the kettle?" and get the box. On moving day the Lock Screen shows how many boxes have arrived. Everything in one place The last tab is called "More" and leads to every area: Furniture, Storage, Defects, History and Settings. AR mode now starts straight from the box list and from a room. Also • The destination country comes from the address you type, and the country list is searchable • A search result opens the item, and one tap next to it opens the box • In the defect report you set the title, recipient, subject and the signature lines yourself • The app starts faster, and an update leaves your data untouched

The cloud is our own now Shared moves run on a server that belongs to us. Nothing changes in how you use it — the data simply lives elsewhere, in Europe, and expires by itself. Signing in without a password With Apple or with Google, both without a password. If the two lead to the same confirmed e-mail address, it is the same account. One screen for every move "Umzüge" shows the open move, the others on this device, and the ones sitting in the cloud that are missing here. After a fresh install you fetch them back from there. Also • The account sits at the very top of Settings, with the sync state below it • Moves can be deleted: here only, everywhere, or you simply stop helping out • "Share move" now lives under "This move", where the question belongs • The Apple button was black on black in dark mode

History, with undo When you move house together, every change now carries a name – and any change can be taken back, along with everything that hung off it. The move has an end Once the date has passed, the app asks whether it worked out instead of assuming. After that the overview shows an address instead of a route, and progress counts unpacking. Bought QR stickers Scan the roll and the boxes appear. And a sticker that is already stuck on can be linked to an existing box.
