Personally I like this app and sometimes they are giving some books for free !!! Also this so helpful and it have settings so you can read without burning your eyes as it is happening in other phones. I suggest this app to all of you !!! It is so good

The app started showing some book collections as empty on both an iPhone I have and a MacBook, even though they had several books each. For some reason the specific collections seem to have the proper content in an iPad I have and is also using iCloud. I am really worried this will result in me losing several of my books. All devices are up to date, iCloud enabled in all of them, wasn’t able to find any solution so far :-(

It is a great app to keep your books together and read them on any Apple device, yet the search section needs improvement. Filters regarding the language are more than necessary in order to find the books you are interested in.

It is really frustrating that I cannot read purchased books in other device than IOS...Hope someone to finally push Apple to stop these monopolized practices...

Generally good. Once it didn’t respond and I had to reconnect through the web browser. (Latest version also displays too small pictures of books that I’m reading, in order to leave a lot of space for advertising Apple books.) Main drawback: cannot read my books on non-iOS devices.

I’m quite satisfied with this app. The only thing would like iBooks to improve is that we should be provided with the option to Justify text in books.

It’s been a while that books I have actually bought won’t open. When I click on them to read, the whole app just shuts down and kicks me out. Why would that be happening? For this reason, just 2 stars… I am sorry but it seems I cannot clearly use the app anymore… I just hope they fix this issue.

While admittedly some improvements were made, the removal of page turning animation is a HUGE turnoff for me…. Strange as it may sound,it takes most of the feel of reading a book….Can’t see why not to have an option to choose….Big mistake by Apple in my humble opinion

I use it on my iPhone and I like it cause you can just read books right on your phone, just perfect!

I started using the app recently. I downloaded first a free book to see if this way of reading is good for me. I finished the book and I was ready for my first purchase. But suddenly the bookstore disappeared. I googled it and noticed that is a common issue. I played with settings and tried any possible solution in general. But nothing so far. It’s so frustrating.
