i personally find it really hard to escape procrastination especially for assignments/study. i always end up scrolling on tiktok for an hour and get nothing done, or texting my friends and getting distracted on social media. The custom motivation sentences when you open your phone really helps (especially when there’s only a small amount of time left on your timer). what usually takes me 4 hours to sit down and get to the end point only takes 2 max and i get more done & feel productive. couldn’t recommend more if your a procrastinator

Just bought it tonight and am really loving the user interface. I have had apps like Forest before but what I liked particularly about the Forest App is that it’s much more easy to organise the tasks that you’ve focused on. There are tags that you can create and label like “Maths” or “Reading”. I don’t think the price is fair though. You have access to two or three trees to plant initially. The rest require a purchase through the in-game coins that can be earned through time spent focusing. Other apps that i have had were completely and all of the plants were free. Other than that, this will be one of my go-to focus apps.

Most of us can relate that it’s so hard to actually START studying and focusing especially since we have so much technology around us and we’re glued to our phones 24/7. This is the very first app that I bought in the App Store and I do not regret it one bit because although it’s hard to start, when you actually do, you don’t want to kill your tree and the forest doesn’t look as nice when there’s wilted trees! Every time I hear the notification of my tree being fully grown I just get so excited to see it. Great way to motivate people and actually focus without using their phones!

I’m quickly approaching my Leaving Cert and downloaded this app because I realised I often pick up my phone too much while trying to study. I was skeptical at first, but it’s great! I enjoy seeing the visuals of all the plants in my forest as a result of my study sessions, and earning coins through the time spent motivates me to keep studying so I can earn enough coins for a new plant to add. It’s rewarding because I’m both preparing for my exams and I get to buy more plants!There’s nice motivational messages that pop up when you pick up your phone/open the app, and you can even add some yourself.I no longer pick up my phone, to avoid withering the plants, and it’s a good habit to have picked up. Although, there is the option to allow certain apps if you know you may need to use them. Overall, I’m satisfied with what the app offers for the price! I hope to continue using it for other activities once my Leaving Cert is over :)
