Absolutely love the user interface and content however my one quip with the app is that I use a VPN for work and when I forget to the turn it off before I open the app it gives me an error that says the app is only available in India.. fair enough but after that if I turn it off the VPN and check again it still gives me the same error, please look into this!EDIT: This issue is fixed, thank you so much the app is now perfect.Although I would appreciate it if you could add the schedules of all the channels that you guys broadcast it would make it easier to plan when to watch :)

Looking at the content offered, I immediately subscribed to the annual plan and am loving each and every content! I’m hooked on to the app! Having used the iOS app, a few minor issues I would like for the team to address are:1. The audio language- is there a way to set a default language? I prefer watching these in English but each time I play a new show, it randomly picks a new audio language. Gets annoying when you are watching episodes back to back and need to change language after each episode.2. App for LG WebOS: a cherry on the cake would be to have a dedicated app for the WebOS platform. As of today, all leading OTT platforms have an app for WebOS. Discovery is the only one missing. Would be great to have it on there.3. Mis-labelled content: I noticed a few episodes are mis labelled. See “How do they do it (S08,E17) as an example. There are many more shows that have a different content than the episode. Kindly address this.4. Navigation- go back 1 page: while browsing tv shows within ‘Explore’, if we hit the back button, it should go back to display the tv shows. Instead the app takes you back to the channel selection instead of taking you one page back.5. 4K/ HDR content: are there any content that are available on 4K? If so, can they be mentioned on the cover so it’s easier to identify?All in all, this app has wonderful content but a few minor improvements can make it a better experience! Thank you!

Don't get me wrong. The content on Discovery+ is good. It has various topics covered through various shows. But the app feels like made by a beginner in coding. It doesn't give you download option! Who does that in 2022?? I have to STREAM everything!! On top of that it has poor history of syncing the videos in continue watching section. Quite often I have stopped halfway in an episode in hopes of being able to start right from where I stopped, only to find to my disappointment that I cannot start from the point I stopped at because the app failed to keep that thing in its memory. I have to start afresh QUITE A LOT OF TIMES AND THAT'S JUST EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT! There's an app called Ullu which basically streams soft p*rn, and even that app allows me to star watching from where I stopped AND has option to download episodes! Shame on you Discovery+, shame on you!

Thank you for this wonderful app. I downloaded it immediately as soon as I came across it. Subscribed to the premium plan as well. Works perfectly on iPad Air 3. Only complaint is the absence of downloading option in the app. I would be watching shows while commuting and since I am going to watch them on iPad, which only works with wifi, I would always need internet to watch them. So, please provide the option of downloading episodes so that I can enjoy them offline.Thanks.

Hey Team so happy with your content so informative and enlightening but two things i have to say 1 Pls allow download option so that we can enjoy our favourite episodes offline. Which is available in every app2 Pls sort the content by language or on the show page pls mention available language because its a pain to play video and see whether its available on regional language Pls keep the good work going the ui is very clean smooth and intuitive

While all the streaming giants support downloads, and a few of them even supporting auto downloads based on recommendation, Discovery + doesn’t allow downloading their contents through their app. Even for premium members, download option doesn’t exist. I am unable to download contents and so I stopped paying. Already the contents are medíocre, and if downloading is also not available, I am not sure what we are paying for? In 2024, streaming companies are battling fiercely, spoiling the customers with features, and here we have, the Discovery+ not even allowing downloads! Am I going to take his content and run away? The attitude of not providing download option to the paying premium members feel cheap and preposterous.

I am a fan of discovery for so many years and I immediately took annual subscription once I know the app is available. As excited am to spend my whole time binge watching lot of amazing shows available in the app I am not feeling to use it. It is only available in Apple store and google play and I don’t want to watch them in a small phone. Discovery is all about adventure and the gorgeous visuals and how can not one expect to have it available in television platform. Eagerly expecting it to be available very soon in fire stick / chrome cast. Until then I have to wait without using the app. Sorry discovery.

No doubt discovery plus has amazing contents, but the biggest drawback is one can not cast the episodes using a chrome cast. I’m finding difficult to watch the big length episodes on the iphone as it’s straining the eyes. Almost all the live streaming apps has support for chromecast and air play. Please update the app with a chromecast support, so that the best shows can be enjoyed on a bog screen and not on 2x4 inch mobile screen.

I bought the app few minute ago to watch the new series -“ sinauli”. The app is crashing on my iPad Pro 2020, I am unable to change the language of the videos, for that I had to download it in my mobile then only I can change the language. The settings logo given on the upper right side is not accessible by my iPad, that is the main issue and when I click on it the whole iPad hangs, the video is running but touch controls are completely lost. Please fix it in the next update, I am really looking forward to watch your content. Thanx

I started discovery plus just 2 days ago and it is amazing no doubt. I really love discovery channel. I liked watching it on television. But when I saw this app, I was right away hooked. With such a wild selection of shows. Good job team. But one recommendation that I would love watching it as much if you can bring it on Samsung smart tv for a better experience. Anyways a great app.
