Install and open LinkMyMac on the Mac and Android device. 2. Connect both devices to the same local network. 3. Display the pairing QR code on the Mac and scan it using the Android app. 4. Allow Local Network access and the Android permissions required for the features being tested. Once paired, test files, photos, notifications, clipboard synchronisation and Standard Mirroring. Approve the screen-sharing prompt on Android when starting Standard Mirroring. Drag-and-drop can be tested by dragging a photo or file from LinkMyMac into Finder, or dropping a local file onto the Dashboard transfer area. OPTIONAL FEATURES Bluetooth Assist helps paired devices with nearby verification and rediscovery. Feature data continues to use the local network or USB. Advanced Mirroring requires Android USB Debugging or Wireless Debugging. Availability depends on the device and its security settings. The webcam feature uses the Android camera as a Mac video source. macOS may require approval for the included camera system extension, and Android may require camera access approval. CELLULAR CALLS Supported cellular calls can be initiated or controlled from the Mac, but cellular call audio and microphone input remain on the Android device. CONNECTIVITY Device-to-device features use direct local connections without LinkMyMac cloud storage. Version 1.49. improves clipboard image syncing with your phone. Copied images now sync more reliably and can show a preview in the Mac app, making it easier to confirm what is on your clipboard before sending it across. This update also includes stability improvements for companion syncing and device state updates.
