Services are good till the time you pay, Later you do not get any support if you land up with issues in getting your subscription activated. You only have the option of writing an email to customer care and you never get response to the concerns you raise nor times prime is bothered to support in resolving the issues you face with. Some subscription get deactivated within your valid period and you are going to loose your valuable money. Think twice on the customer support front before you get to purchase the plan. Tnx.

When I signed up for Times Prime with my email, it showed my email was used by some other mobile number. So I did a forgot password and found that it’s linked to someone else’s phone number. I raised a support request explaining the situation and how times prime allowed someone else to use my mobile without OTP verification and they said it is not possible to change the mobile number.I wanted to avail the service, so I ended up creating a new email ID just for TimesPrime and availed the service for a year. Recently, I found a delete account feature in the settings and went ahead and decided to delete my account so that I can get rid of this temporary email ID and link my actual email ID with my actual phone number by recreating the account. So I used the forgot password on the older account belonging to someone else apparently (as they linked their phone number to my email) and raised a delete request there too. Now both the accounts have been marked for deletion on TimesPrime and when I try to login it shows a message “Your request to delete your Times Prime account is in progress. You will not be able to access your account for now”.However, it’s been more than 2 weeks and it’s still showing the same message so I requested TimesPrime support to escalate this and delete account sooner, to which I got a reply that “ We would like to inform you that our platform, unfortunately, does not support the deletion of accounts at this time“. What the actual hell does that even mean? There’s literally a button to delete account on the app and now I can neither login to either of the accounts. Times Prime has the worst support and I would not recommend the app to anyone.

I subscribed to an extended plan based on a promotional claim that Zee5 FIFA content was included. However, after completing the payment, I was informed by the Times Prime team that I must first cancel my existing active membership (valid until September 2026) before activating the extended plan.This effectively reduces my overall subscription benefit to just a few months, which defeats the entire purpose of purchasing an extension. The promotion is misleading—customers are encouraged to pay for an extended period under the impression of added value, but in reality, the usable subscription period is significantly compromised.Additionally, the Zee5 football offering is time-bound, and by the time my current subscription ends, the FIFA-related content will no longer be relevant. This raises serious concerns about why such an extension was pushed in the first place.Despite highlighting this issue, I have been denied a refund on the grounds of a “non-refundable” policy. This is unacceptable, especially when the service was misrepresented at the time of purchase.This experience reflects poorly on customer transparency and trust. I will not be continuing as a user and would strongly caution others before opting for similar promotions.

The concept of how subscriptions work is not known to this division of Times group.Bought a Times Prime subscription in Apr-24 but wanted to upgrade to another plan which seemed better.The current plan should have been stopped and money adjusted to new plan as most benefits are unused from the first plan. Never informed that the existing plan needs to end before selling me a new one which will not be active till April2024. And they have the money already!No phone number to contact. Poor support ticket team that doesn’t understand English so not only do they respond late but respond whatever they understand of the customer situation (not what the customer requested).Pathetic is the best word I can think of.They want me to wait for this one to expire before the new subscription kicks in😡.Request to map a different mobile number to my subscription has not been answered.- they not know how subscription upgrades should work, - their systems don’t work as you can’t reach their customer support- app support ticket is answered late- support desk is atrocious and manned by nincompoops- twitter msg goes into a black hole.. - office phone numbers don’t work (automatically ends the call.. board-line tried)- App says new subscription money received but will not start it now and not refund the money.I never knew digital channels were meant to fleece the clients and disappear without a trace. What a digital transformation our country is seeing with big brands getting it so wrong.Is it the ‘sign of the Times’..?
