Privacy Receipts give every visit a local, shareable summary of HTTPS, active protections, observed connections, and cookies. Persona Focus uses your chosen persona for new browsing whenever a Focus is active. Password autofill is more resilient, and persona-routing notices now stay with the tab that owns them.

Add websites and web apps to your Home Screen from the Share menu. Permission prompts close when their page navigates away.

A lighter browser interface keeps pages visible behind the new Settings and Library panels. Search now finds settings across the app. History, Reading List, Bookmarks, and Downloads now share one Library, with improved accessibility throughout.

iCloud sync now lets you choose whether General, Appearance, Personas, and Site Permissions settings synchronize. Mac, iPhone, and iPad layouts stay independent. Also includes optional address completion, improved bug-report diagnostics, and a fix for empty space below pages when the toolbar is at the top or hidden.

Reading Lists along with some bugfixes come along for the ride on the VanBrowser. VanBrowser now speaks Russian and Ukrainian, its 10th and 11th languages.

We've addressed a couple issues around autocomplete and blocking of site assets in order to improve usability for certain sites.

Files that need you to be signed in now download instead of failing. And with a keyboard on iPad: ⌘T new tab, ⌘W close tab, ⌘L address bar, ⌘R reload.

Notifications arrive as they should on Mac and iPhone, whether it is a site you allowed or a download that just finished. Search keeps moving. When a search engine holds your results behind a verification check, VanBrowser offers to run the same search elsewhere or load the page again, so nothing leaves you waiting. Your search engine setting stays exactly as you left it.

Websites can now ask to send you notifications. You decide per site with a simple banner, and you can change any site's answer later in Page Info or Settings. VanBrowser can also notify you when a download finishes. Downloads can now be paused and resumed, even after quitting and reopening the app. Browsing history can now sync across your devices as part of iCloud Sync (VanBrowser Pro). Clearing history on one device clears it everywhere, and a new switch in Settings turns history sync off entirely. Also new: a Passwords tab in Settings and a Website Data explorer showing what every site stores.

Two fixes in this update. Startpage search works again. Startpage added an additional layer for "Verifying your request..." that our tracker filters were blocking, so searches could stall. Handoff to your Mac now works. Passing a web page from your iPhone or iPad to a nearby Mac could fail with "Handoff couldn't be completed." Your device now hands the page off correctly.
