App works on Mojave but fails to load on High Sierra

The WeTransfer app is a more convinient way instead of uploading via the browser. A simple drag and drop on the app and the file starts to upload. There is one drawback here. If there are multiple files, they don’t upload unlike the browser version. One has to zip the files in one folder and then upload. Even a folder drop does not work. But I am having issues with High Sierra. My laptop runs High Sierra and the app does not load. My system shows its downloaded and on running the app it does not load. The app store shows the “Install” sign. It’s strange! On my iMac, there’s Mojave and it runs very well.
App doesn't work on macOS Sonoma
