Darts may sound simple, but it involves a lot of strategising and skill. Add in roguelike deck-building with dozens of game-changing upgrades and customisations and you get Treble Bull, which takes the game in a whole new direction.

What we love: At first the rounds in Treble Bull are manageable: play cards to throw your darts and hit a target score. But soon they become more difficult; to win the day players must pull off huge point combos, deal with cheeky rule changes and best some diabolical darts bosses.

Quick tip: This is an obvious one, but it helps if you know the basic rules of darts as you play through the different levels. It also pays to experiment with the different cards and abilities presented to you after each leg. There are a lot of options, but remember: this is a roguelike! You get to try again and experiment.

Meet the creator: Philipp Bunk is a solo developer who built Treble Bull because he’s not only a huge fan of roguelike deck-builders like Balatro and Slay the Spire, but is also a darts player. Bunk decided to try combining the two – to great success.
