Today's edition sets itself across two facing pages, with the fold as the gutter, the masthead crossing it, and the lead story beginning on the left page and continuing on the right. When the lead is short the edition shares itself out so neither page is left empty. Prefer the conventional two sections side by side? That is a setting now. Both are built, under Settings, Opened out. A PAPER THAT RESIZES The Daily Me now lays itself out from the space it is given rather than from a list of devices, so it reads correctly upright, turned wide, in a split-screen pane, and on a larger display when a device opens out. Landscape is unlocked on iPhone for the first time. FIXED About showed v0.1.0 no matter which version you were actually running. It now reads the real one. ONE PRESS TO FILE Two Control Centre controls, File a Story and Today's Edition, which also work on the Action Button and the Lock Screen. Free forever. Version 2.1. A new series. Volume II. The Correspondent: seal a letter until a date to come, to your future self or someone else. It stays closed until the day it is meant to be read. The Sunday Edition: a long-form feature spread, set like a real magazine, from the week you filed. The Illustrated Edition: on-device engraving illustrations for your stories, in your paper style. Voice-first composing: dictate a story and have it set as a column. New edition styles, a Newsroom Insights desk, and a front page that finally puts the new departments up top where you can find them. File something.

Version 2.0. Your paper, properly set. Real typesetting: the front page now flows in justified, hyphenated columns with a true drop cap, set like a real press. The AI Editor-in-Chief, deepened: it can suggest a headline for an untitled story, all on your device, always yours to overrule. The Annual: a beautiful year-in-review edition, composed from the stories you filed. The Circulation Desk: see the arc of your moods and sections over time, drawn as a broadsheet chart. Bound Volumes: export a print-ready keepsake of your paper. Private by default, as always. File something.

The black-bar redaction for names and dates is exactly as before — nothing leaves the page you didn't choose. A GENTLER ASK — the rating prompt is now a quiet in-app question first. Only a "yes" ever opens the App Store; "not really" goes to a private note that never does. There is now a permanent "Rate The Daily Me" in Settings, only if you wish. RICHER NOTIFICATIONS — the daily prompt now carries the masthead and the actual line, in the editorial voice, and stays a normal, quiet notification.
