Unfortunately, I followed Planta’s guidance for my plants’ watering needs and almost killed two of my plants. I have a garlic plant (tulbaghia violacea) and it told me to water it every day. My plant now rots because of the excess water. It also doesnt indicate how much water the plants need. I researched after smelling rot in the pot and found out that it requires water less frequent and mild, unlike what Planta told me. It also said my gardenia needs to be watered every two days, when it only needed an inch of water every day and one a week heavily. I removed the application because its killing my plants. Its mot accurate or helpful at all especially for new plant owners.
