What's new in 1.0.8: OFFLINE LISTENING: You can now download tracks for offline listening. This is a two step process: create a playlist, export it to Apple Music, download it, and then return to sessionography. Sessionography will also cache relevant album artist, personnel images and other information for a better offline experience. YOUR LISTENING PAGE: 'Your Listening' page is now linked to the relevant explore page. When you tap into 'see all' there is now a search bar to more easily find what you are looking for.  MORE TIMELINE FILTERS: Filter any album timeline by artist, instrument or group size. The filters are limited by available data and will not include albums lacking the data we are trying to match.   More accurate collaborator linking. Most artists see a modest increase in collaborator matches. Mid career artists in many cases see a doubling.  Faster loading pages by making more server calls simultaneously Faster loading album art Improved instrument filtering through better data linking to artists FIXED: Simplified a lot of the explanation text and hints across the app.  Removed another reference to the beta that was lingering- I will eventually find them all! 1.0.6 What's New: -Explore tab- when nothing is loaded the page now shows a strip of artist suggestions along with a list of recently visited -The home screen is now personalized with listening history from Apple Muisc-only jazz listening history is taken into account. This feature can be toggled off in settings. Listening history within Sessionography is unchanged- this is always taken into account for personalizing the home screen.   -Improved navigation clarity from the now playing screen. Now when you tap an artist or album you will briefly see the last page you were on before being redirected to the new page. -Bio page now feature the full wikipedia bio not just the intro  -Artists with producing/engineering credits will now display those albums in their sideman timeline with labels clearly denoting their role. -Some artists with upcoming concerts will now show links to buy tickets -Improved daily rotation on favorites and live sets home screen shelves -Long press live sets cards to remove and mark as 'not interested' which will preven that artist from returning -Fixed a scroll freeze that could happen in some cases on the favorites tab -Changes to the recording year timelines that better place recordings that lack exact recording dates- in most of these cases can pretty confidently place the album within a year of recording -Jazz score algo tweaked and now rescues around 3k smaller artists that didn't meet the jazz score threshold. These artists profiles are now precomputed server-side, will load faster, and are prioritized in the live search. -You can get notified about new releases from an artist- on the Artist page tap ... then 'notify about new releases'
