Out and about on the water - Canua is the app for paddlers, water enthusiasts and all people who are out and about on the waters of Europe in kayaks, canoes and SUPs.
o With the interactive water map with 150,000+ objects on water characteristics and paddling conditions as well as 5000+ detailed descriptions of paddable waters, you can use canua to plan your trips on the water, record them, effortlessly follow the dotted line and share both the route and your recorded track with others.
o The canoe database, which is fully included in canua, is based on the water information from the printed water guides of the German Canoe Association.
o Tracking (marking trips): Record your trips, check your pace or distance traveled along the way. Share your trips with others. The recorded trip can also be sent as a GPX file. Photos taken during the tour are displayed on the map. For members of the German Canoe Association: Tracks can be transferred directly to your electronic logbook.
o canua provides paddling information on Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and more, for example Corsica and the entire course of the Danube from its source to the Black Sea is also included and described in detail. Convenient entry and exit points, weirs, bridges, ferries, power lines, general danger spots, water levels, rest and accommodation facilities and much, much more are clearly shown on the map.
o canua provides information on the character of the water, gradients, difficulties, obstacles, places of interest, campsites, boathouses and other important information for planning your trip, such as accessibility by public transport. Information on any navigation restrictions is also included.

INFORMATION
Canua requires a GPS signal to navigate, record tours and calculate your current speed. Even if you let the recording (location recognition via GPS) run in the background during your tour, the battery of your iPhone will not be used to an above-average extent. Canua is an offer from ahoi~labs (TouchingCode Distribution GmbH). The canoe database is operated and provided by the German Canoe Association (DKV) based in Duisburg - www.kanu.de. Our first English version. We are happy to hear your feedback on this AI translated canua App - just use the feedback button in the settings.
Other improvements: You can now see more details in your recorded trips: the track is colored by speed, tap on a spot in the track to see speed, duration and position. We also made improvements in the map, small arrows show in which direction the river flows. A bug in the map has been corrected, the river selected in the information is now clearly displayed again.
