LEADNAV 6.47.1 MAP STORAGE CLEANUP NOW ASKS FIRST • 6.47 ran its map storage cleanup silently at launch. On heavily used devices that could lock the map for several minutes with no explanation, and it could repeat. Fixed. • The app now asks before cleaning: a card explains what it found and you tap Start Cleanup or Later. The offer only appears while you are parked, not navigating, and not recording. Progress and the amount reclaimed are shown on screen. • Deleting a saved map or clearing a map cache in Settings > Map now reclaims leftover data right then, behind a progress card, so the buildup cannot return. • Your saved offline maps are never touched. Map areas you viewed online but never saved reload the next time you visit them. • Saved-area names on the Download screen no longer disappear while another area downloads. Only the area currently downloading hides its label, so incomplete areas stay easy to spot. • Waypoint Mic (Beta) now listens in US English on every device. 6.47 used the iPad's language setting, so an iPad set up in Spanish listened in Spanish. Waypoint Mic understands English only for now; Spanish is planned. You can always type a name instead. • New in Settings > Voice Prompts: an Offline Speech Pack row. Offline speech in any app needs Apple's on-device English speech pack. On iOS 26 and later the row shows whether that pack is on this device and downloads it for you with progress. On older iOS the row opens the setup guide. • If Waypoint Mic is on and that file is missing, the app now tells you, once, when you turn the switch on or open the prerunner bar while parked, with a Download button right there (iOS 26 and later). The switch is never changed for you. • The Audio Input Troubleshooting guide is one tap away from Settings > Voice Prompts and the Mic Access alert. GPS RELIABILITY - our biggest performance improvement to date: • External GPS (XGPS160) failover overhauled: if your receiver dies, disconnects, or loses signal, LeadNav switches to internal GPS in about a second - and switches back automatically when it returns. No more app restarts. • Fixed a rare frozen-position issue after locking/unlocking the screen. • Recording engine hardened for huge Trip Packages: file saves no longer interrupt the GPS stream, and unsaved edits are protected when the app is backgrounded or closed. • Fixed a rare route corruption that could throw a point across the globe - and affected files now repair themselves on load. • Track "Time" stat now shows true recording time. Max Speed is now immune to GPS glitches. GROUP TRACKING: • Saved team sessions are now far easier to review: teammate name tags at track endpoints, tap any track to identify the rider, and visible timestamps throughout. • Recording your own track while showing live teammate trails no longer competes for resources - proven with 12 live riders and a full race package on one device. • Fixed a launch crash when large saved team session overlays were left enabled. • Cleaner Group Tracking settings on iPhone and iPad. LICENSES - clearer names, more ways to pay: • Advanced Pack is now ENTRY LICENSE. Pro Pack is now PRO LICENSE. Same products, same features - clearer names. • New Licenses screen: live pricing, your plan status and renewal date, side-by-side tier comparison, and offer code redemption. • Monthly payment options are now available for both licenses. • Marker sets remain yours for life once unlocked. Plus battery improvements and UI fixes throughout.

Group Tracking gets a major upgrade for teams: • See who's active — every teammate now shows a live online/offline status and how often they're updating. • Live speed — view each teammate's current speed right on their map marker. • Breadcrumb trails — follow where teammates have traveled with a color-coded track for each member. • Saved team sessions — group-tracking sessions are recorded automatically so you can review, replay, or share them as GPS files. Also new: • "Collections" are now "Trip Packages" — same GPS file bundles, clearer name. • Offline map storage management to keep your downloads in check. • More update-interval options, with faster refresh rates for Pro. • Improved team color contrast, stability fixes, and UI polish.

Group Tracking — Big Updates • New Teams: organize the people you track into named teams, each with its own color and on/off switch — flip a team on or off to show or hide just those members on the map. • GoTo a teammate: tap anyone you're tracking and navigate straight to them — it follows their live position as they move. • Off-screen teammates now show as a color-coded marker at the edge of the map, pointing to them with live distance. • Faster updates with a selectable update interval and an instant first position when you start tracking. Performance & Navigation • Major speed improvements with large GPS files and long, detailed routes — smoother and cooler-running. • More accurate GoTo guidance — the "come left / come right" direction now points true to your destination. • Open-terrain GoTo guidance now works at walking pace, not just while driving. • Voice prompts play in the right order with better timing. Maps & Markers • Copy or share multiple markers at once. • Offline-map fixes and a new Performance setting. Fixes & Polish • More reliable group tracking. • Numerous stability and iPad fixes, including a reliably tappable settings button on iPad mini.

Big Update You may not notice anything new on the surface but we promise you the app has greatly improved on the backend. This will set the foundation for new features in the future. - Complete overhaul of our mapping and backend - Improvements to the GPS positioning and handling of the XGPS160 antenna - Graphic upgrades to Route and Track lines - Map “spin” became available with the new Mapping backend…more to come! We recommend a backup of your Collections (GPS files) and a delete of all your saved stored background map imagery cache, better yet a delete of the app and reinstall with this update is preferred. Again this is a full backend map update so your old saved background maps will not work. Not to be confused with your GPS files (Collections) as these will be fine and as .GPX files they will work anywhere. Just bring em back in after the update. Map Types - Bing has discontinued their Maps this month, so these no longer work. We removed those. - We added ESRI WORLD Imagery as an option to view for the Basic Core App users. This is the same top level Satellite map Imagery option that Advanced and Pro subscription users have had access to view and store for offline use

You will no longer see a DUAL logo but now your GPS signal indicator will go from Red (No GPS Lock), Green (internal GPS Lock available on the iPhone and cellular model iPads) and a Blue (external BlueTooth GPS being used) - Smaller decimal increments added for distances - Added the ability to Name your device in the app before sharing your Contact Info for Group Tracking - Fixed an issue where the Waypoint symbol was stretching across the "Next Waypoint" field in some cases. You definitely want this update! Major Bug Fixes - Last week we pushed a total overhaul to the subscription handling...unfortunately a few switches got flipped and things turned off. This made some Pro features not available to new users. Sorry...things happen but we appreciate those supporting us and letting us know! Features - They are all back We spent the past few months rebuilding subscription handling to include now offering our Satellite Group Tracking as an In-App monthly or yearly activation to use with Iridium GO! units and the separate Iridium unlimited services. Lots of capability added with that for offline, peer to peer group tracking. If you don't know what this is...don't buy it till you learn more from our website and have the hardware to run it.

Features - Added our Satellite Group Tracking subscriptions to be now purchased In-App!  - You also get per month pricing available as well as the traditional year pricing Not only does this free up our need to activate each and every device, but in turn it drops the cost across a number of Iridium devices sharing the same Group/Team iTunes account. **NOTE if you do not know what this is...you probably don't know how to use it nor have the satellite Iridium packages to actually run it. So, DO NOT PURCHASE IT until you learn more from our website. This is a service allowing you to see each other in the field in areas without traditional cellular or WiFi coverage. To do this, it requires satellite equipment and SERVICE. The only service we recommend is the Iridium GO! Unlimited plan, as anything else will burn out your data too quickly. Make sure you get that equipment and service lined up first. Terms apply as per website and we are not responsible for you not knowing how to use it after you purchase it. Most of our folks running this have been trained by us, in person, through our courses...or they happen to be computer geeks... In our experience, most desert racers AREN'T "computer geeks" (no offense)...so grab your kid or an IT person before purchasing. ***Also these are large auto renewing subscriptions...so remember to cancel prior to your next billing cycle if you do not wish to continue.
