Your own text in the Dynamic Island: a four-character label on the left of every Live Activity's compact island. - Dynamic Island label: every Live Activity template can show up to four characters of your own text on the left of the compact island, in place of the icon - a stock ticker beside its price, a room name beside a temperature, a job id beside its progress. Set compact_label on the activity or type it into the new Dynamic Island label field in the Activity Designer. On steps it replaces the progress ring and on timeline the high/low pair; the minimal island keeps the icon. Works on the landscape island on iOS 27 and in the Mac notch island. - A steps activity with a label shows its 2/4 count in the right ear, since the ring that carried it is gone. - VoiceOver keeps announcing the log line count and the timeline high/low behind a label. - The Dynamic Island preview in the app, the real island and the Mac notch draw the left ear from one shared piece, so they cannot drift apart. - Leading whitespace in the label is dropped as you type and the server trims the rest, so a pasted ticker never loses its fourth character. Fixed: - Simplified and Traditional Chinese now use Apple's own name for the Dynamic Island in nine strings that still carried the English term.

Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight, a landscape Dynamic Island on iOS 27, and Apple Watch complications that update by push. - Siri and Shortcuts: search your notifications, mark one or all of them as read, end a Live Activity, run a notification's action button or a widget's action, and open any of them, from Siri or the Shortcuts app. Marking as read works without opening the app and syncs to every device. Ending an activity ends it everywhere, and a shared one asks before ending it for everyone. "Mark this as read" and "end this" work on whatever is on screen. - Spotlight: notifications, Live Activities and widgets show up in Spotlight with their artwork and open straight to their detail. The new Siri & Search toggle under Notification Settings switches indexing off for this device and clears what is already indexed. - Landscape Dynamic Island (iOS 27): the narrower landscape ears fit their content instead of truncating it - steps as 3/7, an alert severity as a glyph, a media clock as play/pause, a timeline stack as a trend arrow. - Apple Watch complications and Smart Stack cards refresh when a widget's value changes instead of waiting for the next 15-minute timeline or watch sync. - Elapsed time in the Dynamic Island ears ticks live and reads as 5:23, then 2 hours, then 3 days, on both islands, instead of a frozen string or a clock that grew into 72:14:03. - On StandBy an alert Live Activity fills the whole card with its color instead of drawing a header band over an empty card. - The Dynamic Island preview on an activity's detail screen is built from the same pieces as the real island, so it matches what the phone draws. - Activity search also matches the subtitle and ignores accents, in the list and in the Siri picker. - A Live Activity restored after a relaunch keeps its priority ordering from the first frame. - Every new Siri dialog and the new setting are translated into all 25 languages. Fixed: - A Material Design icon that fills its box clipped the steps progress ring and the minimal island's ring. - The play/pause glyph in the Mac notch island was drawn smaller than the values beside it. - Tapping a Spotlight result for an activity without a slug could do nothing; it now opens the activity.

See every value a Live Activity is carrying, and a record of how it changed. - Content Fields lists everything an activity holds on its detail screen: step names past the sixth, warning thresholds, snooze and alarm times, series scale, decimals and smoothing, and the rest that had no surface anywhere. It sits behind one row, so the screen stays short even on a twelve-step activity. - Update history records each update a Live Activity receives while PushWard is open, one row per change with a summary of what moved. Tap a row for the full breakdown at that moment. A run of the same climbing number groups into one row, and the first update seen after the app woke up is marked as such. - Switch history off, and clear what is already stored, under Settings > Activity History. It never leaves the device. - A denied alarm permission now shows in Settings with a link straight to it, instead of countdown alarms quietly never ringing. Fixed: - A Live Activity could sit on the Lock Screen for hours when an end arrived right behind its start, and a large batch of expiring activities could leave cards frozen instead of ending them. - Deleting a preempted activity left its card on the Lock Screen with no way to remove it. - Swiping a card away was sometimes read as the app ending it, and a queued swipe could end an activity that had already come back. - An owned and a shared activity with the same name shared one alarm, so scheduling the second destroyed the first. - Signing out did not always finish: a rotated token kept sending the old one, the on-device wipe could be skipped, and a second account on the same device never registered for push. - The notification list pulled one page per sync when there was a backlog, and the count of firing alerts could disagree with the screen it labels. - The demo picker left out the media and approval templates, so two of the ten could not be tried from the app. - A large integration icon could leave a blank row in the app while the same artwork drew fine on the notification banner. - An activity that ended on its own now reads as resolved rather than still firing. - A webhook or an email confirmation that failed could give up within seconds instead of retrying, and an unsubscribe is now remembered for good.

Ask a question from any script or agent and answer it right from the Lock Screen. - The new approval template puts a question with 2-4 answer buttons on a Live Activity: on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on your watch. Buttons can fire your own webhooks, or leave the URL out and the server records the first tap for you - every device sees the chosen answer fill in and the card wraps up on its own. - Give a round a deadline: set end_date with on_expire and an ignored question answers itself with the default you chose, or simply expires. - Style the buttons (primary, secondary, destructive) and add icons - three or more render as an icon tile grid - plus up to two label/value context rows and a source badge naming who is asking. - Older app versions render an approval as the generic card with the first two options as working buttons, so nothing breaks if you update the app later. Fixed: - An answer recorded while another update was in flight could be lost; answers now survive concurrent updates and repeated sends.

Widgets on the Apple Watch now draw their real charts, and an activity pushed out by the limit comes back when a slot frees. - Trend, countdown, battery, schedule and flow used to fall back to a plain number on the Apple Watch. They now draw the same sparklines, charge rings, period bands and flow rates as the phone, and a bright accent color dims itself once the display goes always-on. - A Live Activity in the watch Smart Stack now carries its template icon, board mini-tiles and a remaining-time clock, and a media card gets previous, play/pause and next chips that fire on your iPhone. - When a slot frees up - an activity ended, was deleted, ran out its countdown, or you swiped it off the Lock Screen - the highest-priority activity that had been pushed out to make room comes back on its own. Swiping also clears the card on your other devices. - A steps activity now prints its subtitle under the name on the Lock Screen and in the expanded Dynamic Island. - severity_label on an alert now takes 40 characters instead of 32, and every text limit the API enforces is published in the schema. Fixed: - A countdown row in the widget list showed the clock time it was drawn at instead of counting down, and kept showing a past time after it expired rather than its completion message. - A battery row named the first device instead of the emptiest one, and a flow row dropped the sign, so exporting to the grid read exactly like importing from it. - A trend row that carries only points showed no reading at all, and a schedule row did not say which period its number belonged to. - An iPad or Mac that was never woken after an activity started kept the finished card frozen on the Lock Screen. - A push too large for its budget drops the full artwork and keeps the blurred preview, instead of arriving with no image at all.

Fixes for the media player card, from a user bug report. Fixed: - The play/pause button drew the current state instead of the action, so it showed play while playing. The tap always fired the right control; the glyph now matches it. - Cover art could stay on the previous track when a player reuses one artwork URL across tracks. A changed thumbhash now refreshes the cached art instead of losing to it.

A media player Live Activity, driven by your own server. - New media template: a Now Playing card with cover art, a scrubber that keeps ticking on its own between pushes, and transport buttons - previous, play/pause, next, stop, a favorite heart and volume - that fire your webhooks, so the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island steer your player directly. Play/pause flips the instant you tap it; your next push confirms the state. - Buttons on every template now light up when tapped and settle back as soon as the webhook completes. Fixed: - A Live Activity whose share was revoked now leaves the Lock Screen promptly instead of lingering until it expires. - Reinstalling the app no longer briefly dismisses ongoing Live Activities on the next launch.

Live Activities now appear at the notch on your Mac. - On a MacBook with a notch, an ongoing activity wraps around it, Dynamic Island style, and pops up when it starts or something meaningful changes. It steps aside on its own while another notch app is running, and you can turn it off in Settings. - On iPhone, a steps activity now shows a progress ring and the current step's name right in the compact Dynamic Island, so you can see where things stand without expanding it. Fixed: - Cover art no longer shows as a black frame on the iPad Lock Screen. - A blank step label no longer draws an empty caption row on the Lock Screen or in the expanded island. - On Mac, segmented pickers in forms sit centered again.

Live Activities can now show cover art. - Send an image with a progress or steps activity and it appears in place of the icon on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and on your Apple Watch. Posters keep their 2:3 shape, and square and circular artwork work too. - The artwork now shows inside the app as well, on the Activities list and at the top of an activity's detail screen. - A tiny preview of the image travels with the update itself, so the card is never empty. You see a blurred version of the real artwork straight away, and it sharpens once the full image has been fetched. Also new, outside the app: - The PushWard integration for Home Assistant is now in the official HACS repository. You can install it by searching for PushWard in HACS, with no custom repository to add first.

Five new Home Screen widgets: - Trend - a current value with a sparkline of its recent history. - Countdown - counts down to a target time on its own, no updates needed. - Battery - charge rings for up to eight devices at once. - Schedule - a value per time period, with the current one highlighted. - Flow - rates moving between inputs, storage and an output. Also in this update: - The gauge widget has been redesigned as an open arc, with the range labelled underneath and a marker sitting at the current value. - A progress widget given a start and end time now advances its own bar, so it keeps moving between updates. - Widgets can now be told how long their data stays fresh. Past that point the widget dims and stamps the time it last heard anything, instead of showing stale numbers as if they were current. - Widget subtitles can show a live ticking timer. - A widget using a template this version doesn't recognise now says so on its own tile, instead of the whole widget list going blank.

Notifications from 130+ self-hosted services now show that service's own logo instead of a generic bell - Immich, Nextcloud, Plex, Vaultwarden, Portainer, Prometheus, Home Assistant and many more. Near-black logos get a lighter version so they stay readable in dark mode. Also in this update: - Changing the language in Settings now updates every label straight away, instead of leaving some in the old language until the next launch. - On Mac, moving through the activity list is much faster; selecting a row no longer rebuilds the whole window. - The ETA timer on the generic Live Activity now fits in the Dynamic Island instead of being cut off. - On Mac, a countdown that runs out now shows its completion message instead of stopping at zero. - On Mac, View Full Log no longer hangs the app. - On Mac, opening an activity no longer briefly flashes the previous one's log.

New • Read once, cleared everywhere — mark a notification read, or mark all read, on one of your Apple devices and the banner clears on the others too. Read state syncs privately through your own iCloud and stays between your devices. Improved • On Mac, ongoing activities in the menu bar now show as full Lock Screen-style cards instead of plain rows. • On Mac, right-click an activity or a shared item to delete it, revoke someone's access, or leave a share — the same actions a swipe gives you on iPhone and iPad. • Multi-day Live Activity timelines label the chart axis in days, so a week-long span reads "6d 23h" instead of "167h". • Close the Mac window and PushWard tucks into the menu bar; open a window and the Dock icon comes back. Fixed • Tapping a notification that has no source now opens the right item instead of just the app. • On Mac, tapping an activity you had already deleted no longer freezes the app. • On Mac, cleaned up a stray divider line at the top of the Settings screens.

Improved • Search your whole history — search now covers your entire notification and email history, not just what is loaded on screen. • Faster, smoother history — large notification lists scroll without stutter and load with placeholders instead of blank screens. • Steps Live Activities show the estimated time up front and animate to the next step as progress advances. • What's New notes can now include screenshots and short videos. Fixed • Fixed a case where a steps Live Activity could show up blank. • The monthly price now reflects the plan's billing period, and the free-trial check no longer hangs. • Removed an extra-large Home Screen widget size that only stretched the large layout. • Live Activity progress now exposes a proper VoiceOver label.

Build and deploy Live Activities now size each step by how long it takes, so slow stages stand out at a glance while parallel jobs still fan out into their own rows.
