Gorgeous, fun, addictive, but....

Oceanhorn was amazing in every way.Oceanhorn 2 is even more amazing in some aspects, like graphics, voice acting, world size, new gameplay mechanics and the fun factor; but it is actually far from perfect.The game suffers from a lot of few bugs, and the story is lacking some soul. It feels like the game is underdeveloped by at least six months, if not a year. It feels like it received a speed boost to make it in time for the launch of Apple Arcade. I really like the game, and I do hope that it gets a re-release in the future, addressing all the shortcomings and filling the gaps. There are some elements that make no sense, but hey, it’s a game... we’re supposed to chill.Some enemies are not challenging, yet give more XP than other more challenging enemies.Some bosses are far too easy.I found myself often getting stuck without any real hint or suggestion of what I could do to progress.I can’t help but give it 4 stars though, because i can see that it was made with such devotion and skill and I do enjoy playing it despite all these imperfections.I hope the younger players disagree with me and find it perfect in every way! :-)

I don’t play mobile games but I downloaded this to try out how it would run on my iPhone 11 and it blew me away! Graphically, it looks better than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. No surprises it took a lot of inspiration from it. It really shows the power of Apple’s A13 Bionic chip.

I don’t play mobile games but I downloaded this to try out how it would run on my iPhone 11 and it blew me away! Graphically, it looks better than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. No surprises it took a lot of inspiration from it. It really shows the power of Apple’s A13 Bionic chip.

This version introduces performance improvements and bug fixes.
