How about adding a tab at each book where you can add notes from that book? For yourself only like. Referring to the bugs i ve found, when I update the page number, sometimes it doesn t update when I go back so I have to push down (in order to update the page) and that the loading circle remains at the top after the page refreshed. And another thing is that with the book shelves tab: I cant see all my book shelves because the first “bubbles” that should contain the names of my book shelves, have their names cleared. Overall, the best app for readers.

Hello! I wanted to thank you for the existence of this app because I found the love of my life through it. Before we were together, my boyfriend and I used to like each other’s Instagram stories. At one point, he posted a story in which he was reading, and I got the idea to look him up to see if he was on Goodreads. Bingo, he was! Even though he hadn’t posted anything recently, I followed him. That follow on Goodreads led me to find the love of my life, and I will always be grateful for this app that reminded me that ‘truth is stranger than fiction ’. Thank you, and much love to you all!

Aa the title suggests, this a very useful tool of tracking and following different recommendations. I love that you can find ANY book that you want.However, the app need improvements for sure since it’s having lag and sometimes you fail to connect to the internet even if you have full on access on other apps.The friend request/search option should also be improved because of the tediousness in finding and adding your friends.

I’m really glad that goodreads exists. I’ve been using it for almost 8 years now (since I was 11) and I seriously don’t know what I would’ve done without it. Thanks to goodreads I have kept track of and organised all the books I ever read, that’s not something a lot of people can say.

As great as it is, here are some things every goodreads user wants improved:-being able to respond easily to comments from your phone -half stars like 4.5⭐️ or 3.5⭐️ etc.-no deleting reviews -easily tagging or mentioning someone-adding new shelves from your phone without putting the books in"read"-no glitching on the likes (I look for one review of mine and I have the same number of likes as in my last review, which is not true) -erase, delete and burn the following button, at least ask before canceling a friend request and putting someone in someone else's following (it's hard to unfollow as you need to use your laptop and can't do it on your phone) OR let someone cancel it on their phone-let us block people from our phones if we think it's best to block than unfriend-we ask for NOTIFICATIONS -be able to have more than 5000 friends

I didn’t get to use the app for more than 30s and it got stuck in infinite loading when i clicked on skip inviting friends 😅😅 Counter for read books is broken, shows 1 extra bookBad UI everywhere, the Groups feature is basically useless on the mobile app and absolutely ridiculous to use on web. Why can I only see the bookshelves for a group on the web app? Adding members to a group does not work.There are soooo many bugs in this app and it’s such a pain to use it 🥲

The app is good, but has some annoying issues. For example, when you remove a book from a shelf, the app just scrolls back to the top of that shelf for you so if that book was number 538 on your list, good luck scrolling back to where you left off.Listopia is also apparently not a thing, and you can’t batch edit either.

I used to update my reading progress by leaving a quote and the page number. Now, an error occurs every time I upload a quote it doesn’t save. Although I can see the updated page number/progress, the quote doesn’t appear anymore. Overall, it is still a great app.

It’s good to interact with people who read BUT we should have a block/report option for fake accounts or for people who really disrespect everyone. Anyway, I recommend it and I think every reader should take it.

I love the idea of an app like goodreads and since it is the most used book tracking app it would be difficult for most people to switch to another one, so I would suggest some improvements in terms of the lagging of the app, the star options (half stars to be added), a nicer theme instead of the ugly brown and creme one
