This update fixes crashes and display problems on the newest versions of macOS and iPadOS. • Intel Macs: fixes a crash that could close the viewer as soon as video started playing. • Renamed or removed saved views: if a view you had selected was renamed or removed on your recording system, the viewer now switches to an available view and lets you know, instead of showing a grid of blank tiles. • PTZ cameras: improves stability when selecting a PTZ camera while camera names or layouts are updating. • macOS 27: restores the solid title bar on the main window, so windows behind it no longer show through. • iPadOS 27: the Playback settings menu now stays above the on-screen keyboard.

This update fixes recorded video that could play back too fast on newer recording systems, and smooths the live view when you switch between multi-camera and single-camera layouts.

Video playback now uses Apple hardware decoding for smoother H.264 and H.265 streams, with automatic software fallback. Toggle Info shows the active codec and decoder. This release also improves iPhone zoom, multi-camera playback navigation, stream recovery, PTZ controls, view selection, and overall stability.

Sign in with Microsoft. You can now log in to your viewer with your Microsoft (Entra) work account, in addition to your usual credentials. New per-camera controls. Audio and PTZ now live right on each camera tile. Tap the speaker to listen to a camera in both live and playback, and open the PTZ pad to pan, tilt, zoom, and recall presets without leaving the view. Object detection boxes. On supported ONVIF cameras, people and objects are now outlined in both live view and recorded playback. This release also fixes a crash that could occur while the app was running in the background, corrects a time-zone issue in the playback search clock, and includes additional stability fixes.

This release fixes three crashes reported from the field. If the app ever quit on you while selecting a PTZ camera, that's fixed. The app also no longer quits unexpectedly when you close it or send it to the background. On iPhone and iPad, choosing a camera for a grid slot no longer quits the app.

Faster sign-in: your camera grid now appears right away and fills in as cameras come online — one slow location no longer holds up the rest. Reworked multi-camera playback: a clearer search-first flow, consolidated playback controls, smarter time jumps, playback speeds, and a more responsive timeline. Tap or hover a timeline row to highlight its camera. On iPad, the app now supports resizable windows, and sign-in fields stay above the keyboard. This update removes an Eagle Eye Networks account-linking prompt that could appear at every login. If you were repeatedly asked to link an Eagle Eye account — including on systems that don't use Eagle Eye cameras — that prompt is gone. You can still link an Eagle Eye account anytime from the "Link EEN Account" button shown on an Eagle Eye camera's live tile.

Eagle Eye Networks cameras are here. Link an Eagle Eye account and view and play back those cameras right alongside your Dividia NVRs, including live view and recorded playback. This release also makes multi-camera playback far more reliable: if one camera hiccups on a slow connection, the rest of your grid keeps playing instead of freezing. We fixed remote playback that could get stuck on "Loading" on some point-of-sale and older NVRs, corrected a case where cloud cameras showed "Camera Unavailable," and resolved a stream-startup crash along with some spotty-audio issues. Additional iPad and stability improvements throughout.

Fixes a crash that could occur on iPad when starting a camera stream over a slow remote connection. If your viewer ever quit immediately on opening a camera, this release closes that path. Additional stability fixes in audio playback and multi-camera browsing.

Stay signed in across network changes. Switch between WiFi and cellular without getting bounced back to the login screen. Cameras keep streaming through the handoff. Faster reconnection on flaky networks. When a camera loses its connection, the app now recovers in seconds instead of stalling for up to 30 seconds. Cleaner playback timeline. Cached clips now correctly show their cached state (lighter color) versus clips still downloading, so you can see at a glance which segments are local. Stability improvements to the address-resolution path used when your iPhone reconnects to a controller.

• Forensic Continuity Recording: when your NVR is configured for “smart” recording type instead of “motion”, MacView now shows keyframe-only between-motion segments as separate bands on the MC Playback timeline. Playback auto-skips through them during normal review; scrub in to see the still frames. • Faster repeat playback: video chunks you've already watched are cached locally, so scrubbing back through the same window is instant. • Login fix: correctly prefers your NVR's LAN address when you're on the same network instead of falling back to the public IP. If you'd been seeing your public IP show up at home or in the office after a remote session, this clears that up on next launch. • iPad / iPhone MC Playback layout fixes: Find button no longer squeezed in portrait, pickers expand to full width, timeline ribbon stays on top after rotation. • Stability: server connection error reporting, MC playback hardening, several crash fixes from internal review.

Playback • Fixed: Your camera-grid preference no longer resets when switching between Live and Playback. • Fixed: Rare crash when logging out while Playback was open. Faster logins Dividia Viewer now remembers the fastest connection path to each NVR between sessions, so reconnecting is noticeably quicker — especially on multi-location accounts. Fix loading of Cloud cameras is custom views. Make sure Live Overlay is enabled for Cloud cameras (camera name and date/time) Persist camera name even when low bandwidth mode enables on Cloud Cameras. Add support for PTZ cameras.

Update to new Unified Logging framework.

Add support for new "Default" view where we can now view 2 or more NVR's as a single location. Move Cloud Views up into the Read-Only view section.

Fix critical bug where playback of a remote server was not working. This issue was caused by last 2022.10.1 release.

CloudNVR Integration - If you have an active CloudNVR subscription, you now have live and playback support of those systems from this viewer.
