With some more tweaks, this app will be a true force to be reckoned with compared to many other photo storage apps out there. It's so easy to use, you don't really need to do anything more other than to have your photo in the phone itself, a sufficiently stable internet connection, and it will auto upload into the cloud. You can even search for a photo from aeons ago, and probably store your photos for many years to come without having to worry about transferring it elsewhere - unless Google shuts down one day.

Please read before downloading:HUGE privacy concerns as the app requires you to allow access to all photos for some reason, even when you just want to edit a few stored photos that you’ve already off loaded to their cloud, there’s no reason to require us to allow access to all photos especially when the photo is no longer on our devices.Second major issue is even after so many years the albums still don’t sync. You organise the photos in your albums, close the app and open it again and all the photos are no longer sorted in the order you spent HOURS on.Third issue is how they constantly try and trick you into backing up your entire phone album to the cloud just so you would run out of space and purchase more cloud storage. One wrong click and suddenly you’re out of storage space because you accidentally turned backup on due to their calculated design into tricking you. Worst part is if you want to delete your backup they’ll start deleting the ACTUAL PICTURES on your device.No one is working on this app anymore, nothing has been done to improve any aspects of this app for years, other than pushing for you to purchase their storage upgrades, and requiring you to give up more of your privacy for no known reasons.Do not download.

rly speechless about how great this app is. The fact that it provides unlimited storage for photos and videos on the cloud for ABSOLUTELY FREE is just iNsAnE. Completely trumps iCloud, so I’m just using this over paying $3 a month. The app is so smart too being able to search for photos by expressions and locations or objects in the images, is really really convenient too. Also, it’s really the small things, like identifying photos that have already been uploaded so they prevent uploading duplicate images, that brings a smile to my face and gives me absolute joy to use this app. As an Apple fanboy, I hate to say it but Google is just superior on this front. Apple, where u at?! 5 Stars any day 🤩

I have been using the Google Photos app on my iPhone and the web version and I'm thoroughly impressed. The user interface is incredibly intuitive, making it super easy to navigate through my vast photo library. But the feature that truly stands out for me is the ability to search for images based on text contained within the photos. This allows me to quickly find specific pictures without the hassle of manually scrolling through thousands of images. Highly recommend!

My previous phone died and I needed some place to back up all my photos because I really needed them and wasn’t willing to delete or lose those memories. I purchased the 100Gb storage and I truly don’t regret it. Not only does it store all my memories that are precious and irreplaceable , it also does little collages and videos and compilations of some of your photos too as a suggestion and if you like it, you can save it and post it! I never knew I needed this app and service badly, but I’m so glad it’s in existence ❤️ thank you.

I only have 16 GB for my iPhone memory, I always have not enough storage for all my photos to be store in my iPhone. Right now, I am using Google Photos to store all of my photos, I have unlimited storage for my photos and I can login into any of my devices through Google, to look at all of my photos which I have saved in Google! I would strongly recommend iPhone users to use Google Photos if they have plenty of photos to store and have too little memory to use. Thank you for your time to read this. :)

I use this app to connect with my family as we live abroad. We post pics of our child through a private family album and some of them said that they feel like they are not missing on anything at all. I love the features of google photos through face recognition. Sometimes it will create a collage for me of photos my child from birth to age 2. So sweet! These are just some reasons why I enjoy Google photos. Highly recommend.

I have been using Google photos for a long long time because it is really convenient and free to use, save up alot of my phone’s storage space. Really wanted to give this app 5stars but since the company started monetising this feature, making new and existing users pay if they use more than the amount of free storage (which will be eventually) this forces users to subscribe to the ‘plan’ so that they can increase the storage space to continue to store their photos in the app, therefore I will give this a 4stars rating.

There is just 1 super important missing feature...google photos should stop the actual process and update it when related to automatically read the picture on my iPhone album and list them to be uploaded when the wi-fi is on.Meaning that even if the app if closed (including in the background) and I delete pictures from my phone, when I than open the google photos app it still consider the list of pictures it had seen before, giving me double work to clean up 2x....this really needs to improve...!!
