HOW IT WORKS
Storytel is available in 25+ countries, including both local and international story treasures in different languages. A subscription gives you access to our ever-growing library of audiobooks, ebooks, and other stories.
In-app subscriptions will be charged via your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period unless auto renewal is turned off in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before your subscription period runs out.
When a free trial is offered, we will ask you to add a payment method when starting the trial. But don't worry – if you cancel before the last day of the trial you won't be charged.

Bought 1 year subs. Lots of my favorite books in this app. Can be listened while winding after work or before bed. It definitely helps for someone like me who were used to read a lot in the past time but cannot anymore due to lots of work as an adult. I can listen to audio books while commuting to work, exercise at the gym, etc. Please note that not all audio books have text version and vice versa. It would be great if you add features to save our favorite quotes and share that piece of it on social media. :)

Honestly a really good ebook application. Theres a myriad of books to choose from. Self empowerment, true crime, horror fiction, rom coms, you name it and they have it! However the pressing issue here is the fact that most of these ebooks come with only the audio version, making it difficult for users who prefer reading than listening to the book. It’s a real pity. I have loved this app so far and have been an avid user, but somehow my options are limited to some extent as the books i wish to read have no reading option. Although I do acknowledge that it may take time to develop and produce all of the text and pages, it would be great if Storytel would implement more readable books on their app. (:

I have signed up but I barely have time to read or listen in a fast pace job. I remember asking about programming book. At the time only a few was related but in the end I found a lot of programming book being added. Too bad I have too little time otherwise I would have continued. Good customer support too. Forgotten my password and got a reply the next day. They also send reminder on Subscription renewal so I think this part is good so if I don’t use it I can stop for while.

Like the app so far :) I’d prefer it if I could have the option of reading a book while listening to its audio (assuming the book has both options). Sometimes, I get lost when listening to the story that I need to read the words again. Or, I’d confuse the tone a book is portraying and need to listen to the audio to set it for me. I understand that not all books has the two options—it could be one or the other—but for the books that does have it, I’d appreciate it if this feature can be implemented!
