I love this app so much. It has everything I need and more. Highly recommend, especially for taking notes directly into PDFs.
Glitches and Lack useful Updates

For the whole first year of uni, I was determined to use OneNote as my primary app for note taking. I truly did use it from September to May and I am sad to be so disappointed. Issues with OneNote: 1. Occasionally while writing down notes in further section of a “page”, app sends you back to the starting position where headline is. This use was particularly frustrating when you have to scroll back to where you have left multiple times. 2. While scribbling, app randomly creates straight lines from the point where pencil touched the screen. Very annoying. 3. Erased notebooks are for some reason kept in the history of notebooks where only closed notebooks should appear. I had a notebook which I deleted but app kept showing it to me in closed notebooks (couldn’t open it anymore tho). 4. Palm rejection is still sadly sometimes insufficient 5. I would like to have an option for quick line same as in Notability 6. Only three options for thickness of eraser 7. Writing is tilt sensitive. Normally this would be valued but it often glitches and thus creates uneven width of the lines while writing. It would be great to have an option to change it. Often people don’t need tilt detection while writing down notes. More annoying than useful. These were my major points. I truly did try to like this app. I use Microsoft Surface Laptop and synchronisation of notes between my iPad and laptop would be amazing in theory. Unfortunately, I have to switch to different app now and it’s not easy to transfer notes from OneNote to different app. There are many positives of OneNote though. I mentioned only negatives, because those bother me and possibly many other users. As for the positives, I encourage everyone to try this application by themselves. It’s not all bad for sure.

I still miss the functionality of creating a page template that way everytime i create a new page I have to manually set it up (change the colour of the background and add the horizontal lines)
