The RX Connect app is the mobile cockpit for your Riese & Müller e-bike with RX Chip.
Always know where your bike is: with an active RX Service, the app connects you directly to your Riese & Müller bike and allows you to view the last known location at any time.
Digital Bike Alarm: Activate the alarm in the app – if your bike is moved, you’ll receive a push notification. Depending on the bike model, the alarm can also trigger a sound on the bike (UBN bikes) and blinking lights (UBN bikes, Pinion bikes). These settings are adjustable.
New: iOS widgets for the Home Screen, Lock Screen & Control Center – battery level at a glance (if available) and activate the digital alarm directly without opening the app.
Digital Ride Log: Thanks to the chip, you receive ride statistics for your trips – without having to start or stop recording manually.
Speedometer Function: Connect directly to your bike via Bluetooth to monitor all data during your ride in the speedometer (UBN bikes with Fazua system, Bosch bikes with Smart System). For other bikes, a simple GPS speedometer is available.
Share Location: You can send your bike's location via a link and share it with other devices at any time. This way, you – and others if needed – can keep an eye on your bike, even when it's moving.
The app provides access to dealers in your area and all data in the My Bike service portal.
Notes on using the app:
/ Your Riese & Müller bike must be equipped with an RX Chip to use the functions.
/ A free My Bike account and a booked or activated RX Service are required. Registration and booking at: www.r-m.de
/ Riese & Müller bikes from model year 2017 onwards can be registered for My Bike. All bikes with an RX Chip registered there can then be displayed in the app.
/ Consent to tracking your bike is required for use. You can revoke your consent at any time.
/ Enable push notifications to use the digital alarm.
/ Allow location services so that your current surroundings can be displayed on the map.
/ For UBN & Bosch Smart System bikes: establish a Bluetooth connection to your bike to utilize the full range of functions

What’s New?
With this version, we’re delivering on frequently requested features: iOS widgets show the battery level (if available) on the Home Screen and Lock Screen as well as in Control Center, and let you activate the digital alarm without opening the app. Audio now continues when switching bikes and when activating/deactivating the digital alarm, and the app starts faster thanks to a shorter animation. Background technical updates improve stability and keep the app up to date.
