Abwun is your daily journey from “I” to “You”: away from inner noise, self-worship, and the illusion that you must redeem your own life. Instead, it is a path of prayer, silence, and surrender to the living God.
The name comes from Aramaic, Jesus’ native language, and means “our Father.”
What to expect:
• Daily Journey – Three mindful stations guide you, day by day, out of the cycle of focusing on your own ego and realign your heart with God. In the evening, the examen invites you to take five quiet steps to view your day through God’s eyes—with gratitude, honesty, and without self-reproach.
• Heart-to-Heart Conversation—Speak to God just as you truly are—without pretense, without pious platitudes. Your own words are enough. And if you find it hard to speak: This is also a place for silence, for questions—and for lament: when God hasn’t answered, when words are drowned out by pain. In the Psalms of Lament, you’ll find a language for the unspeakable—because lament, too, has its place in the Bible.
• Faith & Answers – Ask any question about God, Jesus, and the Bible. You’ll receive answers that sustain you: grounded in Scripture, explained simply, using parables just as Jesus taught—and, where helpful, backed by historically verified facts. Always with Jesus at the center, always uplifting.
• In His Presence – Learn to let go of the inner “excess.” Silence, breath, the Jesus Prayer, and the Way of the Rosary—whether a prayer cord, a rosary, or a simple string of beads woven solely from Scripture: bead by bead, you find peace in God’s presence.
• Bible Verse of the Day – A verse every day that sustains you: quiet, clear, and meant to bring life. With the option to read it meditatively (Lectio Divina).
• Spiritual Community – Discover that you’re not walking this path alone.
No new system. No affirmations. No self-improvement. Abwun doesn’t track your progress or put you under pressure to perform—there’s nothing to lose here and nothing to prove. The app takes you where every deep longing truly wants to lead: back to the Creator, into the freedom of a life that no longer revolves around itself.
