The hardware has been sold globally for 3 years, yet Meta AI is still region-locked to ∼18 countries. This is an obsolete business model.Samsung, Apple, Huawei, XREAL, Rokid all work globally from day one. Meta AI hardware that stops being "AI" when you cross a border, that is so crazy. When I travel to the US, it works. When I return to a country that is region locked, it says "Not available in your region". I have no guarantee my assistant will work abroad. This makes the product unreliable for travel, which is the main use case for glasses.If you sell hardware AI glasses, the AI must work globally, Or sell it as "Camera Glasses" in all region, not "AI Glasses".*Some statements were given by Meta ai app
