Whatting's UI just got cleaner! • The Add Widget screen on iPad now uses a two-column layout. Pick a category on the left, check the large preview on the right, and switch the theme and size right there. • The empty page looks cleaner, too. Widgets now show as simple shapes, without card backgrounds. We smoothed out a few rough edges. • Home Screen widgets now look clean even when you use a background theme. • You can now long-press a widget with your finger to open its menu, even while the Lasso tool is active. • Fixed an issue where handwriting changed size after you left the app and came back. • If you're already on Pro, you can now share your invitation code with friends too.

Now you can see Today's Whatting right on your Home Screen! • Two sizes — a large one that gives your page plenty of room, and the largest one that shows the date and clock alongside it. • Every time you close the app, the widget is redrawn to match how today's page looks right now. • Tap the button to jump straight to the screen for picking a widget. • It blends in naturally with both Light Mode and Dark Mode.

Typing Mode lets you type with your keyboard right on select widgets. [Typing Mode] • On widgets that support typing, you can write straight into the body with your keyboard. • Check the badges on the Add widget screen to see which widgets support it. • Style your text with Bold, Underline, Strikethrough, text color, highlighter, size, font, and alignment. • Move between cells and items quickly with the Tab key. • Typed text now shows up in Search too. [Keyboard Shortcuts] • App features are now in the iPad menu bar. Run them instantly with hardware keyboard shortcuts. Apple Pencil just got a lot smarter - Pen for writing, fingers for everything else — no more mode switching. Write instantly with your pencil while using your fingers to create schedule blocks, rate your reading, or check off reminders. - A redesigned squeeze menu — squeeze your Pencil Pro and the menu now appears as a single flowing arc, opening in the direction your pen tip is pointing. Pick pen types, highlighter styles, and colors right from the outer arc — and the menu stays open while you switch tools. Smoother transitions - Refined animations when expanding a widget — buttons now bloom and fade naturally. - Swapping an image in a photo widget is now reflected instantly in the expanded view.
