Mazetools Soniface 2.0 contains huge improvements of performance, sound quality, visuals, user interface design, help function, connectivity & many of new demo scenes and songs! Especially the Sound, Sampler and the Rhythm Interfaces have been improved fundamentally with new sound effects. A sample now can be linked to the Grid and played. Soniface now includes Ableton Link to synchronize musical tempo, a Drum Sample Controller with library as well as new soundscape samples. The Recording Menu includes the new possibility to record and loop the Maze movements on the grid. The Sound Interface now contains a Low-Pass resonance filter and a High-Pass Filter. The hexagon function changes the number of grid tones played. The Colorshift function serves to shift the color assignment on the grid and increases the variance of the basic tones. A Grid trigger playback on/off function enables to switch between a the permanent sound and the playback after triggering the grid by touch or mouse. The Sampler Interface is now also displaying the wave shape of mic recordings. The >Sample to Grid< function transfers the current sample to the Grid tones and the Sound Interface controllers will work with the sample. There are new sounds in the sample library from the baltic sea & Japan. New sample playback functions have been added (Play at begin/end after/before pattern switch). Many thanks to our amazing testers! We improved Soniface in performance and stability. This is the first version supporting Midi-Input. Midi Sync and Midi-Out will be added with the next update coming up very soon. In this version we also added some fancy new sounds to the native sample library.

This version has been improved in usability and quality - through many tests we could fix a lot of issues with performance and stability. The "master parameters" of each pattern (pitch, volume and speed) can now be morphed as you move from pattern to pattern. You can use the "Flying Notes" option to have some new generative visualization and change the background color for each pattern. What is about Midi, IAA and other features? Our developer Stephan is constantly improving the software and connecting things to it, like midi or tracking controller. He also created a fully working midi connectivity for soniface, that needs to work on each platform. For iOS it'll come hopefully come up with the next update.

The new version of Mazetools Soniface comes with a new Soundscape Sampler module. Now you can add and record samples, that are directly put into your soundscape, song or set. We also improved the App in usability and performance.

New color sequence interface, interactive magnifier for easy handling on small displays, revised in-app help guide, polyrhythmic step sequencer, improved drum modulation

In this version we added the function to record the sound to an audio file. We improved the sound being a bit more dynamic, reduced noises and click sounds and improved the visualization of percussive elements. For the next updates we planned support for MIDI/OSC, connections for sharing data/files between apps, a function to sync data between multiple devices and we're working on some important improvements in usability by adding a few editors and functions.
