AI voice translation you read as it happens: a lecture, a video, or the person in front of you. Conversation mode follows two languages at once and translates both ways.
StreamVox is an AI voice translator. It turns speech into subtitles you can read as it is spoken, and, in Translate mode, into a voice you can hear. The AI works with the whole phrase, so the subtitles read as sentences rather than word by word.
TWO WAYS TO USE IT
• Translate: subtitles from one language into another. A lecture, a video, or the person in front of you.
• Conversation: a talk in two languages at once. Each side speaks their own; StreamVox works out who speaks which language and translates both ways, laying the replies out in two panels.
WHERE THE SOUND COMES FROM
• Microphone: the speech around you. The person with you, a lecturer, a TV nearby.
• Device audio: the sound of your own phone. Video, streams and podcasts.

Minimise StreamVox and the subtitles stay in a small window over other apps. Watch a video and read the translation at the same time.
TRANSLATION PROFILES
Six profiles tune the translation to what you are doing: General, Meeting, Movie / Stream, Gaming, Quality and Medical.
• Meeting keeps a business tone and is careful with names, numbers and units.
• Gaming keeps gaming terms and abbreviations intact.
• Movie / Stream reads like natural subtitles.
• Quality goes for maximum accuracy when every word matters.
• Medical works when the source language is English and is designed to keep drug names, doses and units. StreamVox is not a medical device and does not replace a professional interpreter.
READ THE TRANSLATION ALOUD
In Translate mode, the translation can be read out with the voices installed on your iPhone, so you can keep your eyes on the video or on the person in front of you.
LANGUAGES
50+ languages of speech recognition and translation. Conversation works in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Dutch and Hindi. The interface is available in 12 languages.
HELPFUL IF YOU ARE HARD OF HEARING
Live subtitles on screen can make videos and conversations easier to follow when speech is hard to catch, or when you need to keep the volume low. StreamVox is not a medical device, but turning spoken words into readable text can help.
FREE AND PLANS
The free plan includes 15 minutes of translation a day and resets at midnight UTC, so you can keep using StreamVox for short sessions at no cost. For longer use: Pro gives 40 hours a month, Pro+ gives 70 hours a month, and Unlimited has no monthly limit. Manage your plan inside the app.
No account is needed: translation, the free limit and subscriptions all work as a guest. An account only lets you use your subscription on other devices.
GOOD TO KNOW
An internet connection is required. Calls and protected content are not passed on by iOS and cannot be translated.
