UPDATE: August 10, 2026. The app is still glitchy and sometimes will open on iPhone and sometimes doesn’t. I’ve had no response from developers. Right now I can’t open the app to even check my current version and an update is not available. Currently having problems even opening the app. Any feedback is welcome. This game is one of my favorites otherwise. I have been unable to get the game to open for about a week now.

The game is great, but every 3 months or so the screen will completely freeze and I can’t do anything to clear. I forced I by deleting the app entirely and that caused me to lose all the data I’d accumulated. This has happened twice. I’m annoyed but will try to download and use my previous user name. If you have insight for a fix,please let me know.

For some reason it stops working at the beginning when it says it is finding people to play. It seems to be stuck and won’t move on

The game crashes all the time, so I lose rewards that I earned. Can’t get in touch with the creators so I’m stuck with it. Every time the game crashes, I lose what I’ve earned and that’s frustrating. The other players are great! There are different contests that make it more fun, but then again it crashes in the middle of the contests. There are other annoying things like every time you log on (after a crash), they automatically start you up on a new game with a bot person so you have millions of games going that you can’t possibly complete. I finally had to block that person, but they still go on behind the curtain, probably tallying losses for me.

I have been playing since 2020. I have met some interesting people along the way. I have also been playing with some of the same “WW” friends since I started. They are consistent with our games and play WHENEVER I am playing, middle of the day on break at work or the middle of the night when I can’t sleep. They challenge and increase my vocabulary regularly. I am thankful for that. Playing “WW” has also been therapeutic for me during my bereavement periods. No questions to answer but somewhere else to focus my attention to when I want to get away without actually leaving. Thank you Word Wars for the numerous game friends I play regularly and your continuous improvements over the years.

This is one of my favorite games I play daily, however, over a week ago, attempts to start playing are stopped as soon as I reach the “searching for online players” screen…it just searches and searches. I’ve followed directions to temp offload and reload later, but the problem has not been resolved. I’m even getting messages that I’ve ‘been missed and to come back’, but it won’t allow me to play. Please help 🙏. (P.S. I received an update, yesterday, ‘bug fixes and enhancements’, which I downloaded, however it did not fix the current problem.)

I want to report a glitch and can’t seem to find another place to report this problem. I have a regular group of players request playing me all at the same time who I don’t want to play; a few players I do want to play and have been playing with are messaging me saying that they cannot make a move anymore bc of this glitch and it won’t register the score. Also, when I go on the game, unless I click on a notification someone has played, I cannot enter the game. Please help! Thanks

So the board is set up a little differently, which is nice makes it more fun and more than the American dictionary so that keeps it lively but one thing I don’t like is it will tell you that there are no more possible moves when I know for a fact, there are possible, easy moves and when I’m trying to get a high score it takes away that opportunity and it is extremely glitchy. I’ve had to reinstall it 10 times in the last five days. This is the worst ever it’s been.

This game has some issues with freezing and ads over taking game play.I have had to reinstall in order to even play it. The game freezes on the “finding players for” screen. I can see my open games, but can’t access them.The obnoxious ads are blocking player names and interrupting the game flow.It used to be a great game. But if I have to delete again, I won’t bother reinstalling.

Too many ads are disrupting the game. Be prepared to watch ad after each play. It’s extremely annoying especially when you have several games going, they want you to pay to remove the ads. I’ve had to delete game and reinstall because of issues disrupting the game. Game will not load for 2 days, I wish I had never started playing this game.
