I downloaded this app for my 5 year old brother who is about to go into kindergarten. He already knows his letters and started the app, and since then he has got so much better! The app is amazing, it reads it all to you, with no adds and no upgrades you have to pay for. There is also many levels from pre-k to 2nd grade. I personally like it better than other reading apps I used and it is actually helping him read. Also it works I. The car with no WiFi! Overall amazing app.

It’s a very good app to my 6 year old cousin but one bug when I checked on the iPad the app was glitching like when she reads the books it’s glitches so she can’t read them also does my cousin loves the reading words and other activities there also whoever made this app it’s a good app but please fix this bug and make it offline because the wifi randomly turns off she can’t play duo abc so please make it offline ~me

I am a caregiver for an adult with a developmental delay and have been using this to improve their reading skills. I wish it didn’t allow them to answer so fast or had a better corrective teaching method, since kids and people with developmental delays tend to use a “trial & error” method instead of pausing to think about what is the correct answer. Other than that, has been great and has improved their reading and comprehension.

It teaches sight words, I love it, Helps me understand my spelling, for children under 4 years and much better than Duolingo, It helps me read, write, and speak more effectively! The main Duolingo app is for language learning. The learn to read Duolingo app has over 700+ reading activities and spelling It increases my spelling, writing, grammar and speech

My little bro seems to kind of enjoy the app Judah! Like I’ll take his hand and put the letters in where they go and stuff like that plus I show him the stories and stuff. It’s like you go through this then you start using regular Duolingo app that comes later on.

This game is great I am 10 and u still use it I have had it for a year but I deleted then put it back this a great I did not allow the 🎤 because let your kids read aloud and if somewhere is too loud the can whisper read instead Well bye ✌️

Ok so it is an amazing app but there’s a problem I don’t like that whenever my sister Hass to write by herself the letters it corrects her and makes it look perfect I would like it to actually show how she did it so she can improve every time the second thing that was a bug was talked about in another review I looked at before writing this one but the bug is is it whenever my sister needs one of the books and she is asked one of the questions sometimes it doesn’t show the photos or the X and the checkmark is there any way to fix this other than this it is the best app I’ve ever found for children and she is improving a bunch. This didn’t help me learn to read at all, mainly because I taught myself to read. Yes that’s true, in preschool my teacher taught me what sounds letters make and some basic English rules and stuff like that, then I taught myself from there I was just looking at the ratings for Duolingo then saw I had previously downloaded this app, so I went to it and decided to write this review. I gave it five stars to boost ratings because this is apparently a good app to learn to read. Have fun learning to read, my fellow adults!

My sister is trying to use this app and she is only on the first building. There is this talking mechanism where it asks you to repeat a sentence/word. I am just going to get to the point and say that it is broken. Everyone in my family has tried to do it and the app keeps saying it is wrong. Why is it not working? Is it supposed to do this? I honestly think it’s rigged.:) goodbye

My daughter, Layla was so excited for this app. I downloaded it for her and when she started, she called and said she needed my help. My daughter has dyslexia so it’s hard for her to read and I don’t think this app supports that. She’s upset and feels like she’s a little kid. 😔 (update) my daughter’s birthday was a week ago and she’s doing really well at the app! The only problem is that sometimes she doesn’t say the words correctly and they still count and not a big fan with some of the stories. About three days ago, she got a bad dream by one of the stories.
