I downloaded this app for my three year old because they love coloring and this app says it is especially for kids. Before I let my child play it, I tested out loads of the features and it seemed jam-packed with fun, child-appropriate games and virtual toys. I let my kid play the game for the first time today and lo and behold, she stumbled upon A CUTE ANIMAL WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE ACCESSORY in the paper doll game????Why is this in a game for small children? How is this remotely appropriate? There should not be “real” guns depicted in games for young children. I would even argue that cartoony, silly guns shouldn’t be in a game for young children, but I respect that other folks may have differing opinions on that since plenty of kids will see them as water guns or other toys. But I should not have to explain a “real” gun to my three year old who is just playing a seemingly innocent paper doll game where you dress up cute animals. This game should at very least be labeled as having gun imagery in it. I’m honestly appalled both that the developer chose to put that in the game and also that it got through Apple’s vetting process.

The imagery was part of an educational dress up activity introducing children to different professions, with the character intended to represent a soldier. However, we understand that the particular imagery used was not appropriate for an app intended for very young children. We have reviewed the content and removed the imagery in question. The latest update (version 2.4.3) no longer includes it.We take age-appropriateness very seriously and are rechecking our content once again to ensure that it meets the standards we expect for young children. This is exactly what I have been looking for! Just a simple coloring game that lets me enjoy different design and ideas, but not over the top. I’m not an artist by any means, coloring is very relaxing to me and allows me to be creative after long days in the laboratories. I really appreciate this app.

So 2 days ago I made the furniture colorful and yesterday when I checked if it was saved my colors were gone but i still LOVE THIS GAME but check this before you download and there is a princess game in there and I LOVE it so much I play it every day even after school but thank you for making this game💖💕😊

I love coloring, but this is bleh. BORING
