Echo mini turns spoken audio from another Mac app into floating translated subtitles. Designed for people who watch, study, research, or work across languages, Echo mini keeps the translated line visible without taking over your screen. The panel is draggable and resizable, newest subtitles stay at the top, and previous lines remain available in the scrollable history. Highlights: - Translate spoken app audio into floating subtitles - Select the source app instead of recording your whole screen - Local speech recognition and local Apple Translation - Automatic input-language detection with manual language control - Adjustable subtitle font, size, and weight - Copy, share, or clear subtitle history anytime - No app-runtime cloud transcription, cloud translation, analytics, or remote backend. Language support in version 1.0: - Input speech languages (auto or manual): English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish - Subtitle output languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish Echo mini depends on installed macOS speech and translation resources. Some language pairs may require local Apple language resources to be available before subtitles can be translated.
