The game itself is really good but whene you complete the voyage it shouldn’t take 8 weeks to do whatever it dose because I’m still waiting and hey I have no problems with the astari they work hard and everything but here’s the thing I really want to be able to sorta upgrade my guys like “use 2000 belief to allow followers to clim another layer or use 1000 belief to allow followers to go a little farther in the water.” And you guys should make there be less astari and spread out the villages like have one in the mountain area you know the one where the big thing out light on fire to in expand the gray is in the swamp you should put those guy who were worshipping a coconut is oh wait I just forgot everybody’s map is different oh well I’m to lazy to erase all that I will leave it but yea you should really consider allowing the guys to battle with the other groups I mean not to make that the whole porpoise of the game and yes I think I did just say not to make that the whole dolphin of the game but where was I on my maniacal rant oh yes not the make it the whole dolphin of of the game but you could allow your guys to like oh dammit lost my train of thought that’s always been a odd expression isn’t it my TRAIN of thought did I just have that all Capps dammit I have to stop doing that but make sure there are enough other guys in the tribes to make it a fair fight aka make it so that if you have finger of god you don’t win instantly and know if the court will allow I must walk my dog.

Godus is an amazing sandbox game. The 4+ rating should actually be around 8+ as it takes a little skill and intelligence to play and have fun with, understand, and enjoy. It is a game about being a god and controlling or helping your civilization advance. You start off on a little peninsula where you learn to sculpt the land. You use your newly learned powers to save drowning followers. You then need to sculpt the way for the followers to find the Promised Land. There, your followers will begin to build abodes and shelters on sand, until you unlock the ability to sculpt and have your followers settle on grass. You need to help the followers advance in numbers, unlocking cards and stickers to unlock powers and abilities. They repair beacons, unlocking new areas to settle and grow. Voyages are a puzzle system, where you and your followers are on an island, and you have to sculpt the way, avoiding dangers and mulch, to the temple, making the fastest possible time to reach it. You will get generous rewards for your efforts. I will leave the rest of the game to discover for yourself. The developers have clearly put a lot of effort into Godus, and it is definitely worth a try. Just to warn you, it does need a good Wi-Fi connection to play. I definitely recommend it for children 7 or 8+ I hope your civilization thrives as you raise it in Godus.

I really like this game. I love the simplistic style of it. The gameplay is amazing. The story going on in the background with all of the lore pieces you can find is really interesting and I find myself reading it over and over again. This is one of my all-time favorite god genre games. However, that being said, the game is far from perfect, and it could use some work.The barrage of ads when you open the timeline is not overwhelming per say, but it does get very annoying and tedious to have to sit through an interactive ad whenever you want to check your progress or ad stickers to a card. I do understand that because the game is free to play there will have to be ads to keep the developer afloat, but the frequency of ads could be adjusted to make the gaming experience more enjoyable to players. Secondly, the happiness system in the game is broken. Like very broken. I feel like I can’t set the game down or else my happiness will plummet and I will lose all of my followers. I cannot reliably keep my happiness up and as a result have started to come back less and less to the game. And with no help section in the menus, there is no way to revisit previously learned concepts and ideas within the game. To add on further to that, the ideas and concepts presented to the player could use more depth and explanation to avoid confusion and allow the player to know what is happening.Overall, I really like this game, but it has some issues and could use some love from the developers.

So before writing this I actually played for a good while as in a few days. At first I thought it was cool but was waiting for the catch. Then I notice okay I need some gems and beliefs to make things happen. From reading the other comments, I’d say they didn’t pay attention or play long enough. To get rid of the ads all you have to do is make one purchase. I did the $5 one and no mor ads and It was a good purchase haha. Also the gems, yes buying it from the store is easier and faster. But you get free gems in some of the treasure chests you find, and you actually get to unlock a card in the game that allows the miners to dig up gems for you. So if you aren’t patient then don’t complain. Ive seen the bad reviews and its not fair. I think this game is very well made, Ive been looking for a game where i can just manage what I what without having to do any missions, I can just be god, create, manage, destroy, build. All on my own time and its relaxing too. So thank you to the creators for building such a wonderful game with so much freedom to do what you want. You can tell it took time and thought to make this, its not just for the ads and money. Been looking for games like this in the App Store and this is the first I found that really does what it says haha. Hope you guys make more! (:
