I placed an order, the next day I received an email. They wanted me to call them. Not a problem, before I did I checked my bank and seen that the payment was processing. No problem there. The man that I spoke to was very rude. I was informed that I Can’t place an order from them due to the fact that I am on a family plan, the phone isn’t under my name it’s under my husbands. That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Made me feel substandard, he would only allow my husband to place the order even though I provided addresses, phone numbers, account information, but that wasn’t good enough. He spoke of a “National debt register” I could not be found on. Don’t understand that, I have 6 credit cards 2 bank accounts and a car loan. But Excuse me I didn’t give you my social security number so how are they looking people up. Not to mention why do they have access to our phone records. They are a department store. I gave them more information to prove identity than I have ever even given my bank. My husband and I are truck drivers, I order online for most all purchases, clothes and items for family. I have them shipped to my daughters house and pick them up when we get home. No other store has ever given me any issues except this one. I guess they don’t like women to order. You will be out of business in a week, I’m sure most of your business is women. I did have a online manager contact me and said for me to take marriage license, birth certificate, drivers license, my credit and debit cards, social security card, a copy of insurance information, and my car registration to my local store and have the manager verify my identity. That is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe they should ask for my first born as well. Lost my business!!!!!! Macy’s is your replacement, they are so much better to work with. It may cost a little more but well worth it.

Up until 2 months ago I would have rated the all 4-5 stars… What changed? I don’t know… if I want to use the app while SHOPPING IN PERSON I do like to make sure that prices are labeled correctly and/are updated on the tags… I used to use the apps barcode scanner but now every single thing I have tried to scan (in the store so that means the item is in stock) But now everything I scan comes up as “not in stock” which makes no sense ESPECIALLY because these items are OBVIOUSLY in stock because I’m actually at a Kohls store, scanning the actual tag that are attached to ANYTHING and in EVERY ITEM AND CATEGORY THE STORE SELLS. Also, the page it takes me too after scanning something IS USELESS and not only because the item is clearly in stock but because I scanned it but also because it’s doesn’t offer similar items, doesn’t mention having anything shipped to the store or to me… The barcode scanner is one of the only reasons to have the app and an account other than keeping track of points, searching for merchandise and however accurate the app is searching on the app FOR ITEMS THAT ARE “IN-STOCK” and can be picked up that day and if it’s not available at the location I shop at the most often the app shows you other Kohl’s stores with AVAILABILITY THE SAME DAY and that is it. Just getting emails whenever there is a new event,sale, coupons etc. I’ve tried to reach someone who can help me fix the scanner and was on hold for an hour and finally decided to hang up.😡

I like shopping at kohls this is just an app issue. It is one of the most frustrating shopping apps I use. You cannot always go back to previous screen (like reading QA in reviews) meaning you have to go all the way back to the home screen and start your search again. Additionally, if you’re picking a color you can’t just click back you have to navigate a confusing route in order to get back to your product. Or if you are in your shopping cart and you select the item in your shopping cart because you want to read the details of the item again, you can change the color options and update the item in your shopping cart but it doesn’t take you back to the product page, so you can see details review again etc. App search functions and filters are very limited. I love the ability to eliminate certain brands (rather than selecting brands that I’d like to see) I have to go in and click all 75 of the other brands except for the one or two I’d like to eliminate, it is annoying. Because it is not an easy to use shopping app it is very frustrating, I have put it down on more than one occasion and just not completed. Meaning Kohls is losing money by not updating the usability features of this app. Please look at other retailer apps (like target) to see an easy, user-friendly app and how it should function.

I usually do not write reviews, but this app has frustrated me so much, I felt compelled to do so. I am a busy working mom, so, I rely on the convenience of mobile apps for easy bill pay. Well sometime earlier this year I paid my bill through the Kohl’s app and it charged my account THREE times! I had enough money in my account at the time and though it was frustrating, I thought maybe it was human error or even a glitch. Well fast forward some months and here we are again. After having went through that debacle I am always very careful when paying to make sure I don’t hit the button more than once nor am I signed up for auto draft, and wouldn’t you know, IT CHARGED MY ACCOUNT TWICE!! So now I’m of course livid, especially because I did not have enough in my account to cover both payments. I called customer service and they make it to seem like it is something I had done, which is making me even more upset, so, finally after speaking with three different people I was able to speak with a supervisor, who assured me they were going to take care of everything. I called today and not only did they NOT take care of it, they never even cancelled the second payment!! Then the customer rep I was speaking with had the audacity to say well you know you can call your payment in to us!! Worst customer service and app ever!!
