GRAPHICS THAT FOLLOW THE TEXT • Images, image captions and Mermaid diagrams now scale with Cmd+ / Cmd-, keep their aspect ratio and stay inside the column; a graphic fitted to a narrow window also shrinks when the text gets smaller • Click any image or diagram to open it in a window-filling preview; Escape or Done brings the document back, and the diagram preview keeps its pinch and button zoom • Both contributed by a QuickMD user (issue #28, pull request #29); thank you! INLINE SVG • Fenced svg code blocks render as images, decoded natively by macOS (no web view, no bundled libraries, scripts in the markup are ignored). They scale with the zoom at their declared size, open in the preview on click and print / export to PDF as vectors. Markup that does not decode shows a notice; in PDF it appears as a code block ORDERED LISTS • The items of one list now share a single text edge: markers are right-aligned under the widest one ("9." under "10."), so item text starts at the same place on the first line and on wrapped lines alike; blank lines and nested content between items no longer split the list. FIXED • A Mermaid diagram that first rendered below the fold could keep an oversized row REMOVED • The 1.8.0 layout fallback kept for one release after the 1.9.0 native layout; the native virtualized list is now the only document layout

SIDEBARS • The Table of Contents and Recent Documents sidebars can now be closed right from their headers (Cmd+Shift+T and Cmd+Shift+D still toggle them) MENUS • Table of Contents and Recent Documents moved from the Edit menu to View, next to Zoom and Reading Mode; shortcuts unchanged

USTOM FONTS • Settings gains a Fonts tab: choose any installed font family for body text and another for code (JetBrains Mono, Fira Code, a serif for long reads...) • Applies to every document, print and PDF export; font size and zoom are unaffected; the app's own controls keep the system font • Custom themes can bring their own typography with bodyFontFamily / codeFontFamily; a font that is not installed falls back to the system font • Requested by a QuickMD user (issue #18). SOFT LINE BREAKS • A single newline inside a paragraph now reads as a space, exactly like CommonMark and GitHub, instead of a visible line break • Documents written one sentence per line flow as paragraphs; wrapped list items keep their hanging indent • Hard breaks still work: end a line with two spaces or a backslash • Contributed by a QuickMD user (pull request #19).
